Mission StatementEstablished in 1983 The Pilipino-American Student Association at California State University, Fullerton, is a student based group set out on promoting Pilipino unity through education, responsibility, and character. This is accomplished with good communication, organization, leadership, recruitment and retention. By teaching Pilipino culture among the youth, we aim to build Integrity & Friendship, so that one day they themselves can make a difference.

MEET YOUR BOARDIESPRESIDENT Janel Villanueva !HELLO PASA! For those that don't know me, my name is Janel Villanueva. I am an Aries. I was born in the month of April. My name rhymes with all of my siblings (Jerel, Janel, and Jazelle). Sometimes I wish I was a superhero with really cool powers. And the fastest way to my heart is chocolate. You can never go wrong with chocolate. Unless you drugged it, then we're gonna have some problems here. !Anyways, enough about me! This semester is about YOU. I'm excited that I get to help plan this semester dedicated to what the members. I want this semester to allow you guys to experience everything to the fullest. I really want everyone to take something away from their experiences from PASA, whether you are graduating or just starting out your time in PASA. It really means a lot to me that I get to serve this term during PCN season, where bonds and families are really created. !Board and I have a lot of things planned ahead for PASA and I can't wait to put all of them into action. One of my goals this semester is to get to know the members within PASA. So if you ever want to talk to me about anything, like TV shows, movies, or life? I'm a pretty open person and would love to talk to you guys about anything :) I'm ready to start this semester. I hope you guys are too! <3 !

INTERNAL VICE PRESIDENT Gabriel Balanza Yo they call me the rhyme master, I'm about to shoot ya with my rhyme blaster. YAWK YAWK YAWK. What's in my sock? It's my feet, I'm back up from defeat. Members don't know me anymore, but I'm not a bore. I'm your internal vice president, trying to stay relevant. You'll get news about AICA and ASI, so there's no reason to cry. The Pilipino Culture Night is approaching, so what will you be doing? The Mural Field Trip is tight, LA is such a sight. Are you gonna win Mr. PI? Please don't be shy. Stay in school, don't be Joe Cool. Make good choices or you'll start hearing voices. Aim high for a bright future, don't zero in your sight like a Stormtrooper. I'm running out of rhyme ammo, this was something I did not foreshadow. No one calls me the rhyme master, this is becoming a disaster. Memorize the Filipino anthem, because this is starting to become random. Imagine a duck, not a Milwaukee Buck. You know what's on fleek? the duck's beak. QUACK QUACK QUACK. This message is about to see black. This rhyme gun is basically done. Don't challenge me to a rap bout, because this message is going to fade o u t. !

!EXTERNAL VICE PRESIDENT Lauren Navarro Hello new and returning PASA members! My name is Lauren Navarro and I am your Spring 2015 External Vice President. I am a second year Economics major from Cypress, CA. I hope that sometime this semester I can take you guys to the various external events, they are a lot of fun and provide an opportunity for growth and discovery! My ultimate goal for this semester is to impact the growth of PASA as an holistic organization and all of the fantastic individuals it contains. If you see me around, don't be intimidated by my naturally pissed off looking face, it's just like that. Come say hi and talk to me about anything, especially if it pertains to music or food. PASA has provided me with some of the best experiences of my college career and the Spring semester is one of my favorites, so embrace everything this club has to offer! TREASURER Matt Martinez Hey guys! My name’s Matt and I am your Treasurer for this spring semester! I hope you guys are ready for all the things we have planned, and I especially hope you're ready to give me all your money! Just kidding.. Kind of. I'm probably going to talk to almost all of you sometime throughout the semester so I'm gonna try to remember all of your guys' names. But seriously, come say hi and talk to me. FRIENDSHIP GAMES CO-COORDINATOR Claire Imada Hey there everyone, it's me Claire Imada, your FG Co-Coordinator for Spring 2015. I am a third year Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations major. I'm so excited to be part of board again, and to see everyone's faces back in school! I can't wait to meet all of you, PCN season is a fun season to be a part of. Even if you feel like you aren't a "dancer", do a PCN

dance. It's fun, easy, and an easy way to meet friends in this big club we have. If you feel intimidated, just come talk to me! I'll be happy to talk to you. FRIENDSHIP GAMES CO-COORDINATOR John-Luke Taylor Wassup everyone! My name is John-Luke Taylor and I am one of your Friendship Games Co-Coordinators. I am a third year Kinesiology major. I love sports. I love playing, watching, and talking about sports. I rep the bay area hard! I can give you a million reasons why Norcal is better than Socal. Well anyway I hope you guys have a great semester and stick around for Friendship Games!

PCN COORDINATOR Chris Tju "Some people say a simple life is a pleasurable life. Some would agree and some might not. As Socrates once said, I know one thing, and that is I know nothing." Said Andy as he slipped into the covers to comfort his newly wed wife. "Uh, I've waited so long for this" his wench moaned, she squirmed and struggled to undress. "Are you ready for this?" He asked. She silences him and brings his face towards hers. 9 months later, little did they know they had given birth to future pirate king. 21 years of pure struggle and conflict had forged the man who would become your PCN coordinator. He is the embodiment of trying, The Lord of doing just enough, he is your leader.

PCN DANCE COORDINATOR Darby Sherman Welcome back to school! I hope everyone is enjoying their first few weeks back. FG was so much fun but.... it's PCN season bitches.

Im incredibly excited for this semester! PASA and PCN in general are great ways to build lifelong friendships and really find a comfortable home away from home. I hope that with PCN, you all put yourselves out there and challenge yourselves to try something new. PASA board, Chris, and myself have so many exciting things planned for our members and I guarantee this is going to be an exceptional semester. Im so thankful to be serving you as your PCN Dance Coordinator this year and I can't wait to see you all on the PCN stage!

COMMUNITY CULTURAL ADVOCACY CHAIR Monica Mocha Pantaleon Hey PASA! My name is Monica Pantaleon and I am your Spring 2015 Community Cultural Advocacy Chair, proceeding the legacy of Antonio Faustino who proceeded the legacies of Gabriel Balanza and Gabriel Gonzalez. You may call me Mocha, Mochs, latte, frappuccino, or anything else coffee&food related. I'm a second-year business major and I hate school as well as my job, but I always work my ass off for the people and things I care about, which includes all of you beautiful people. I hope you're as excited as I am for this semester!

ACADEMIC CHAIR Justine Bringmann What's up everyone, I'm Justine Bringmann! I can't tell you how excited I am to see so many familiar as well as NEW faces this semester. A little bit about me, I love pugs, Mulan, boba, soccer, dancing, being outside, and the color blue. :) I'm a second year Kinesiology major with a concentration in Gerokinesiology. The position I'm holding this semester is Academic Chair, so I'm in charge of the big-little program we have for PASA in addition to organizing study sessions and finding scholarships for you. SECRETARY Tawny Madrona Hi Friends! My name is Tawny Madrona and I am your Spring 2015 Secretary. I'm currently a 3rd year Kinesiology major here at CSUF. I'm really excited to come back and spend time with all the returning members as well as get to know the new members. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make general meetings, so if you ever want to hang out just let me know! As for official PASA business, I am in charge of keeping all information in order so if you're ever confused about anything come see me and I can either give you an answer, refer you to someone that is an expert on it, or let you know that details may not be set for your exact question. SOCIAL CHAIR LJ Hernandez Whaaaaaattttt is goood my fellow Kaibigans! My name is Lj Hernandez, I'm a 2nd year, majoring in Kinesiology and I am your Spring 2015 Social Chair! I plan socials for all you dope people where everyone can have fun and meet new people! One event in specific is Members Retreat! This is a day where people in PASA come together to chill, talk, eat free food, do workshops and get closer to one another! PUBLICITY CHAIR Elijah DelaCruz HELLO PASA! Elijah DelaCruz here! I am a 2nd year, pre-business major at CSUF who currently serves as the publicity chair for this fantastic club. As PC, my job is to inform you guys about the upcoming events that our club has to offer, so that you all can have an enjoyable semester with us! My message to the returning members; keep doing what you’re doing with being welcoming to the new people who are joining the club. Make sure each and every PASA member is happy they’re part of such a great club. As for the new members, don’t be afraid to get out there & meet the people within the club! I promise that if you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone to participate in what’s going on & to talk to the other members, joining will be one of the best decisions you made for your college career. IP CO-CAPTAIN Phong Ngo Greetings new members and welcome back returning members! I am Phong Ngo, your Spring '15 IP Co-Captain. I came to this planet on December 13, 1994 and have currently lived here for 20 years. I am now a second year at CSUF and majoring in business. Fuck business. I like apples. I own a lion and am looking into getting a monkey. I just want to say that PASA is a great place to meet new people because everyone is so darn nice and awesome and welcoming (: So if someone randomly tells you that you're beautiful then it's probably me. This is my third semester in PASA/IP and I have to say, I enjoyed every moment of it. Spring is probably my favorite semester in PASA because of PCN. If you don't know what PCN is then you should get involved :D Seriously though, DO IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT. It's the time when you really get to know your fellow members and create life long bonds with friends. Anyway, I wish you all a wonderful semester in PASA!

IP HISTORIAN Tim Giron Once upon a time, a bout a year ago...I've experience a life changing event that opened my eyes to the world. After last year's PCN, I decided to get F'ed up at PCN after party, but before that I met this amazing girl. We connected so much that I thought she was the one. Weeks later, we went on a magical date to a restaurant. I couldn't believe it because I'm one of the most weirdest people you can meet. It was going great, until she told me that she was moving away. I didn't know how to feel/react because I was about to lose this person. At the same time, my best friend got into a dispute with his crew and ended up in the hospital. I didn't know where to go, so I decided to go to my best friend and check on him. He turned out to be alright but a struck of luck occurred when I was offered money to follow my heart. So I decided to move along side with this wonderful girl. Lets Stay Together.... !Be my friend please, I need more friends. Now stop reading this, go to the next page.
