Real Estate in the Winter Months For those of you contemplating on buying a home this
year, now in the winter is the time to start getting serious.
There are several reasons to make your move this winter. Real Estate agents and lenders usually have a little extra time on their hands therefore it could mean less paperwork and more time to focus on you!
As a homeowner, a good reason to sell is that there are fewer homes on the market. With fewer neighbors to compete with in the winter season, buyers will have less to choose from. Also, if your home is realistically priced, it will receive more attraction than it would in the busy summer months when everyone is selling their home and a buyer could miss your home due to the house down the street.
As a buyer, finding a home in the winter can conflict with most homeowner’s schedules. Families would normally rather move in the summer months of June-September because of the reluctance to relocate their children to a new area or school in the middle of the school year. Therefore there are fewer buyers in the market to compete with.
Please contact us for more information on how to take advantage of today’s market. We would be happy to perform a free comparative market analysis (CMA) on your home today!
