Dear DTE Energy Customer, As you know, DTE has been working hard to fix electric reliability issues in your neighborhood. In an effort to create a safer, more reliable energy grid in Ypsilanti, we are inspecting and repairing damaged equipment and scheduling tree trimming near substations and power lines to reduce the likelihood of tree-related outages. We expect this work to improve the dependability of your electric service. This work impacts both the Distribution lines, power lines that connect to your home, and Sub-Transmission lines, power lines that feed our substations.
