WORSHIP AT TRINITY

STUDY

WOMEN’S MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDYPaul’s letter to the Philippians, is our next study starting Jan 15. Paul characterizes the Christian life as joy no matter the circumstances, eagerness to suffer for Christ, humility that follows Christ in putting others first, and trust in Christ alone for righteousness. All women are invited to join us for study, growth and fellowship on the 1st and 3rd Mondays each month at 7pm at Karen Onstad’s home. For more info call her at 623-935-4589 or Leader Karen Frusti at 602-828-2268.

THE LORD’S SUPPER: OUR UNDERSTANDING AND PRACTICEThe Lord’s Supper is celebrated at this congregation in the confession and glad confidence that, as he says, our Lord gives into our mouths not only bread and wine but his very body and blood to eat and to drink for the forgiveness of sins and to strengthen our union with him and with one another. Our Lord invites to his table those who trust his words, repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as he forgives and loves us, that they may show forth his death until he comes. Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm and because Holy Communion is a confession of the faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, in doubt, or who are members of a different church other than The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, and yet desire to receive the sacrament, are asked first to speak with the pastor. For further study see Matt 5:23f.; 10:32f.; 18:15-35; 26:26-29; 1 Cor 11:17-34.

THE BOOK OF REVELATION This class is held during the OASIS time slot on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45pm. Using fantastic, graphic images from the Old Testament, the Lord reveals the how His People will be kept safe through the dangerous Last Days. THE BOOK OF ROMANS This class will be held on Tuesdays@11am. If you are free for an hour on Tuesday mornings, why not make this part of your weekly routine? Come and join us as we study God’s Holy Word!

THE BOOK OF 1 CORINTHIANSThis class is held on Tuesday mornings from 7-7:30am. This is primarily a Trinity Lutheran School faculty Bible study, but if you want to join us, you are welcome! Dear Lord, as enrollment begins for the next school year we lift the Trinity Lutheran School staff and students in prayer. We pray that our Christ filled curriculum shines brightly to draw families to fill our seats. We ask that You keep our administrators and teachers in Your watchful care as they strive to show Your love through their leading and teaching. We ask Your guidance in the name of Your son, Jesus Christ.
