1. Bethany Breakfast will be served next on Sunday, February 23, 2020 (next Sunday). Guaranteed to be delicious! And it’s a great time to catch up on all the happenings in the lives of your fellow Bethany-ites!

2. Bethany’s women’s group, the Dorcas Circle, will meet Wednesday, February 19 at 12pm in the Narthex. All women of the congregation are invited to attend!

3. Dollar Dinners are back!. We will once again have dollar dinners during Lent. Beginning March 4, we will gather on Wednesday evenings for a potluck dinner. The main dish will be provided so bring a favorite side dish to share. Each week will have a theme so if you can, try to bring something to match the theme. However, if time is running short, just bring anything from a package of dinner rolls to a bag of cookies to share. We ask a donation of $1 per person to cover the cost of the main dish and beverage which will be provided. Try to bring your own table service (silverware, plate and cup). If you forget, we will have some disposables available. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Following dinner, you can choose to sit and talk with friends or join in a Lenten bible study from 7 until 7:30. Feel free to bring friends to join us. Sign up in the narthex if you plan to attend. If you can generally note what you are bringing (salad, vegetable, dessert), it helps others to plan so we don't have a main dish and 20 desserts.

4. Save the date! This year’s Mother and Daughter Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, May 2 so be sure to circle the date on your calendar. More details to follow in the coming weeks!

5. The Aurora Cluster will hold a joint Ash Wednesday Service at Wesley UMC, 14 N. May St., in Aurora (parking is off of Galena Ave.) on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 7pm. If you have questions, call 630-896-1033

6. Flowing Forth UMC is once again hosting their annual Fat Tuesday night of worship on Tuesday, February 25th at 7pm in the Aurora Christian School theater, 2255 Sullivan Rd, Aurora (no affiliation). Please join them for a festive evening of fellowship as we all prepare for the Lenten journey
