• In Marilyn Manson’s own words “There are things on this DVD that no one has or should ever see.” 'Guns, God And Government World Tour' captures Marilyn Manson at his most provocative, and is locally re-released prior to the release of his upcoming and much anticipated Soundwave Festival appearances (and sideshows) and new album.• Featuring the full live show across his touring 1999-2001, with footage shot in Japan, Russia and Europe during his world tour, you are given a front row seat to one of rock’s most spectacular performances.• 'Guns, God and Government World Tour' also includes a 30 minute backstage documentary called The Death Parade. • Jim Keays really requires no introduction. His band Masters Apprentices were one of this countries most successful rock acts in the 70's with such hits as "Turn Up Your Radio' & "Because I Love You".• There’s no precedent in this country for someone of Jim Keays’ vintage (65) to be making a ‘garage’ record, a raw, intense rock and roll album while many other artists are busy making their acoustic / jazz / blues / country / blah blah / introspective / retrospective / whatever albums and turning their backs on what made them unique, vital and popular in the fi rst place. Not that there’s anything wrong with any of that (hell, Jim has even made an acoustic album for goodness’ sake!), but it is a little surprising that an album like Dirty, Dirty has not been made before.• Teaming up with Davey Lane on guitar (You Am I/Pictures) with his good friend Brett Wolfenden (The Pictures, Rushcutter) for drumming duties and the producer of this album Ted Lethborg on bass, Jim has made the album he's always wanted to make. A line-up of obscure Garage Punk, Freakbeat and Psycho Pop songs. All sorts of one-hit – wonders, lost classics and weird concoctions of early garage sounds and a few slightly more known ones.

• Pepe Deluxé are the brainchild of Jari Salo aka James Spectrum and his white tuxedo’ed musical partner Paul Malmström, a prodigiously talented multi-instrumentalist residing in his penthouse apartment in Manhattan. and attempts to brew a cup of perfect coffee.• Pepe Deluxé last released an album 4 years ago with 'Spare Time Machine', but unlike most artists this is no bad thing. They've kept themselves busy. Among other things they are now the only people ever to record an original composition on the known Universe's largest musical instrument: The Stalacpipe Organ, which resides in the Luray Caves in Virginia. This simple task of capturing two minutes of music took over six years of planning and work! Pepe Deluxé tends to make the impossible possible in the pursuit of musical excellence.• The album ”Queen of the Wave“, due for release on February 10, 2012, is a pop opera loosely based around a 19th Century Sci-Fi novel “ A Dweller Of Two Planets” and at a time of downloadable single tunes, is highly refreshing.

• Paralytic Stalks’ musical and lyrical directions are infi nitely more personal than anything of Montreal frontman Kevin Barnes has written since 2007’s Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer? (which was featured on 30 bestalbum lists including Pitchfork, RollingStone, etc., and has sold over 100,000 copies to date).• For on a sonic level, the album -- recorded at Barnes's home studio in Athens, GA and mixed at Chase Park Transduction with the assistance of engineer Drew Vandenberg (Deerhunter, Toro y Moi) -- is a stimulating array of densely packed ideas presented with stunning agility. Never before has an Of Montreal record moved so fl uidly from one song to the next -- each track feeding off the last in what seems a singular album-long movement that never allows you to rip your ears away.• Barnes ventures into previously unexplored territory with his songwriting. As a result, Paralytic Stalks at times resembles modern classical with its intricate compositions, while at others echoes of neo-prog, pseudo-country, and 60s pop can be heard. Examples of these new elements abound throughout the record, notably on "Wintered Debts," which witnesses its hushed vocal and acoustic guitar intro giving way to a country shuffl e replete with pedal steel guitar, as well as the fl ute-driven, ELO-inspired single "Dour Percentage."• And yet, above all, Paralytic Stalks remains absolutely defi ant of any labels that attempt to completely pin down the type of music Barnes creates. As such, ultimately it doesn't matter what angle you choose as your entry point. Because the album's true value is that it even forces you to question how to approach it at all.• Conceived on the fringe of a musical landscape that seldom encourages listeners to dig beyond the surface level to receive satisfaction, Paralytic Stalks is the rare album with the audacity to DEMAND such a response.

• Ulver returned recently with their new album 'Wars of the Roses'. Early pioneers of Norwegian black metal, the band have continually evolved throughout their career and now stand as living legends of the dark music industry, blending rock, electronica, symphonic and chamber traditions along with noise and experimental music to create groundbreaking material.• Until recently however the band had remained exclusively within the studio. This changed in May 2009 when the band accepted an invitation to appear at the Norwegian Festival of Literature. The success of this gig lead to them embarking on a string of other gigs in 2009 and 2010, selling out prestigious venues such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Volksbühne in Berlin and La Cigale in Paris before they returned to their homeland for this landmark gig at The Norwegian Opera House.• The 2 hour concert married tracks from throughout the band’s catalogue to stunning visuals to create a spectacle fi tting for such a grand venue. The evening was captured on 6 HD cameras and the audio has been mixed for this release in the band’s own Crystal Canyon Studios.
