The primary goal of this ministry is the holiness of its members. We serve Jesus Christ

under the banner of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is lived out through the performance

of spiritual works of Mercy. This is rewarding, not only in earthly terms but eternally.

Prayerfully the Legion will be in the future of our parishes. Please check the parish

donated. There are still poinsettias in the Narthex. Anyone wishing to give them a good home is welcome to take them. Eucharist Adoration will be Monday, February 11th at 6:30 pm. The St. Rita Altar Society will be serving donuts on Sunday, February 17th following Mass. Their next meeting is

Monday, February 18th at 6:30 pm. The next St. Bernard Unity Meal is Wednesday, February 13th. Serving begins at 5:00 pm. Volunteers and

donations are always welcome and needed. Please contact Therese Beyerle at 812-347-2750 for more information

on how you can help. This is a parish wide ministry and everyone is welcome to help in whatever way they can. If

North Harrison Schools are cancelled due to inclement weather or released early, there will be no meal. INCLEMENT WEATHER: If North Harrison Schools are on a 2 hour delay or cancelled there will be NO

Marriage Night! All married couples from St. Michael, St. Bernard, and St. Joseph are invited to our marriage

enrichment evening on Saturday, February 16th (note new date) at St. Michael. We will gather following the 4:00

p.m. in the Parish Center. The evening will include a nice meal and our very own version of the Newlywed Game!

All couples are invited – newly married and not so newly married. The cost to attend is $25.00 per couple. The

deadline to register by calling or emailing the Faith Formation Office is February 10th.

Men’s Group – Our next gathering at St. Michael will be on Sunday, February 24th at 7:00 p.m. in the faith

formation center. We will begin a study on the Eucharist. Come join us as we walk together to grow spiritually as

Catholic Men. Senior Gathering – Our next gathering will be on Wednesday, February 27th at St. Michael. We will gather at noon

for mid-day prayer and then everyone is invited to bring something to share for lunch. In February we will have

Baked Pasta. All parishioners from St. Michael, St. Bernard, & St. Joseph are invited to attend. Ready to Reboot? Chris Stefanic will present REBOOT at St. Mary of the Knobs Parish on Thursday,

February 28th 7:00 – 9:30PM. Chris is a dynamic Catholic speaker who has presented at NCYC and all over the

country. The evening will center around a practical exploration and understanding of our faith, and all the ways

it’s meant to impact our lives, including: prayer and spirituality, work, dating, marriage, parenting, health and

more. Over the past decade, Chris has established himself worldwide to millions of people with a unique ability

to make the core of the Gospel come alive. If you would like to be a part of this exciting event in our Deanery

purchase them online. Tickets are almost sold out so call soon! Family Lenten Gathering – All families are invited to our Lenten Gathering at St. Michael Church on Sunday,

March 3rd, 9:00 – 10:15 a.m. in the parish center. We will talk about how to celebrate Lent in your home, play a

game, and eat some donuts! All families are invited – remember everyone belongs to a family! Youth Ministry News: Youth Liturgical Team will meet on this Sunday, February 17th at 5:00 p.m. in the Faith Formation Center. Youth Activities Team will meet on this Sunday, February 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Faith Formation Center. Sr. High Volleyball Practice – We will have volleyball practice this Monday, February 11th, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the

parish center. Mission Trip and NCYC Meeting – We will have a gathering for any youth currently in 8th grade – high school

who would like to attend the Wolfe Pack Mission Trip this summer or the National Catholic Youth Conference this

fall at St. Bernard Church on February 17th at 10:15 a.m. in the narthex or at St. Michael Church on February 24th

following the 10:30 a.m. Mass in the lower level of the church. Any youth from St. Michael, St. Bernard, or St.

Joseph is invited to attend. Sr. High Buca di Beppo Trip – All youth in grades 9-12 are invited to join us for supper at Buca di Beppo on

Friday, March 1st at the Pope Table! We will meet at St. Michael at 4:30 p.m. and should return around 7:30 p.m.

The cost of the evening is $20.00 per person. The deadline to sign up is February 24th. TO THE HEIGHTS is all about your journey to the SUMMIT. This retreat is for Freshmen, Sophomores and

Juniors to understand the spiritual, psychological, emotional, even physical aspects of your journey. Join us on this

3-day retreat and DISCOVER your faith for the first time or GROW deeper in it. Mar. 29 – 31 at Mt. St. Francis

catalystcatholic.org. SUMMIT High School Senior Christian Awakening Retreat – Note New Dates – April 4-7, 2019 at Mt. St.

Francis. You’ve made it to your SENIOR YEAR! You’re almost to the SUMMIT. Once you’re there what do you

see? More mountains! On this retreat, you will have an opportunity to prepare for the difficulties you will face in

college and the real world. This retreat is a chance for you to grow deeper in love with Christ and His Church,

knowing that our ultimate end is the Heavenly SUMMIT!! The SUMMIT is four days of authentic encounters,

formation, fellowship, and FUN! Registration forms can be picked up in the Faith Formation Office.

Young Adult News:

Rooted Young Adult Group – We would like to invite all Young Adults (age 18-39) to join us on the 2nd Tuesday

of the Month following the 6:00 p.m. Mass for food, fellowship, and formation. Our next gathering will be on

Tuesday, February 12th in the faith formation center.

ABIDE is a night of Adoration, Reflection, Confession, and Praise at Mount St. Francis Chapel starting at 7 pm -

9 pm on Tuesday, February 19th. There will be childcare available at Catholic Youth Ministries office on

location. All of our sitters are Safe Sitter trained.

Providence to Present Freaky Friday Our Lady of Providence High School’s Providence

Players will present the Disney musical “Freaky Friday”

in the Sam and Paula Robinson Performing Arts Center at

Providence March 1-3, and March 8-10. Regular* show

Sunday, March 3, at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, March 8, at 7:00
