COMPETITIVEEDGEULTRA-RELIABILITYThe Copystar CS 500ci Color MFP carries on the tradition of ultra-reliability by combining proven long-life technology, Amorphous Silicon (ASi) Drums and best-in-class preventive maintenance (PM) schedules set at 300,000 impressions.

By comparison, the Organic Photoconductor (OPC) drums on the Xerox WorkCentre 7346 are individually rated at 26,000 pages (CMYK) and the fuser at 150,000 pages, all of which require service calls when replacement is needed. Xerox does not publish a recommended PM interval for the WorkCentre 7346; however, with drum yields of only 26,000 pages, frequent service calls will be required, resulting in unscheduled machine downtime, greatly impacting your customers productivity.

The CS 500ci has a Preventive Maintenance Schedule of 300,000 pages, and incorporates ASi Drums, which are also rated at an exceptional 300,000 pages each. These outstanding yields allow your dealership to market the CS 500ci with confidence while providing your customers with the peace of mind that the color MFPs they rely on will be dependable and reliable over time. Copystar’s commitment to ultra-reliability is a number one priority.

SUPERIOR PRODUCT FUNCTIONALITYThinking outside-the-box is an essential strategy for any evolving business. With the CS 500ci’s exceptional product functionality, these businesses can take advantage of tremendous features and solutions designed to make their business tasks simpler and more efficient. With the optional 100 sheet Dual Scan Document Processor, and fast scan speeds of up to 100 images per minute, hardcopy originals can be scanned, stored and shared productively and securely. The CS 500ci offers a versatile Document Box function and USB Host Interface. With these features, documents can be scanned and stored directly at the device in color or B&W; or users can insert a portable USB drive for secure printing and scanning as well. The Document Box and USB Host Interface are standard on every CS 500ci, accessible directly from the color touch screen control panel. For added versatility, users can browse three folder levels for print-from, apply finishing options like staple and hole punch, and scan-to USB in PDF/JPEG/TIFF/XPS. The CS 500ci offers your customers the flexibility for portable and secure “documents on the go”.

The WorkCentre 7346 offers an optional USB Thumb Drive Print Kit for print-from USB, for an additional cost of $299 SRP. Adding this option increases the cost of the Xerox MFP for your customer, and does not offer the complete functionality of the Copystar solution.

ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY The paper handling capabilities available on the CS 500ci provides your customers with flexible paper handling options to ensure clean, crisp images on a variety of paper sizes and weights. The innovative paper path design on the CS 500ci allows for heavier stock automatically through the paper trays and standard stackless duplex for your more complex document output requirements.

The WorkCentre 7346 offers a maximum paper capacity of 3,140 sheets with paper weights ranging from 17 lb Bond – 80 lb Cover through the trays and 100 sheet bypass.

In order to maximize paper capacity, the CS 500ci offers two options; for maximum paper sources, it can be configured with Dual 500 Sheet Paper Trays handling weights of 16 lb Bond – 90 lb Index; or a 3,000-Sheet Large Capacity Tray handling weights from 16 - 28 lb Bond. This option maximizes total paper capacity to an impressive 4,100 sheets. The 100 sheet Multi-Purpose Tray can accommodate various media types and paper weights up to 120 lb Index. With versatile and flexible paper handling on the Copystar CS 500ci,every document imaging task is handled with ease!
