surprise jazz duet as an encore. The performers will be piano students ranging from 9 to 25 years old, plus Ingrid Vlieg playing a clarinet sonata with the students’ teacher Angela Cook.

Sunday 18 October is St Luke's Day As you may be aware 2020 is the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife. At the 10am service we will be celebrating and joining with health professionals from our parish and the wider community. As part of the celebration we will enjoy morning tea after the service. Please bring food to share. Everyone is warmly welcomed.

Christmas Fair - Sat 14th November 9am – If you have ideas of things that could be included in our Christmas Fair, or if you can volunteer some help with organisation, please get in touch with Yvonne Rae 358 3962. It’s time to start growing, making & collecting items for our Christmas Fair. Plants - Our legendary plant stall is back - please plant seedlings and start growing on cuttings for this stall. Crafts - We need crafty Christmas gifts for our fairgoers to give to family & friends. Pete’s Pantry – If you are making Jam, preserves or chutneys etc please put a bottle or two aside for the fair. White Elephant, Jewellery, Collectables, Books - If you or any of your family & friends are starting your spring clear out please check if there are any items you can box up for the fair. Raffles - Adrienne Tregonning would appreciate donations of ingredients for the Christmas Cake and items for the grocery and luxury hampers. If you have an item/s that you think would be a wonderful raffle prize please ring Adrienne on 359 0581.

Outreach opportunity – We have an opportunity to outreach into the surrounding community by putting together some Christmas presents for the children of Terrace End School. There is a list of what you can buy and AAW will wrap the boxes and deliver them to the school before the end of the year. Alternatively, you may prefer
