Inspirational Branding Examples of branding that has inspired me throughout this project. I have been heavily influenced by nature and natural forms in which people have creatively included into their branding. The typographic aesthetics of the various influences show sophistication, a key charactoristic that I want to develope into my practice. The use of wood and certain stock choices also reference my topic of camping and campfire food, as they link in with natural materials that you would find in the outdoors.

Inspirational Branding

Examples of branding that has inspired me throughout this project.

Print Processes

Examples of processes I inspire to use including lino cut, hand rendered typography and screen printing on to alternative materials such as maps and textiles. The print processes inspire me to experiment with various imagery that reference to my topic as well as add an interesting effect to recycled materials. The craft aspect of the examples below also allow me show off my craft in a project that is promoting outdoor back to basic and hands on skills.

Concept

The key concepts to my food festival is based around the promotional materials and the locational format of the event. The promotional materials will bring a personal touch which strongly ties in with my target audience of experienced campers and outdoor food fanatics by inviting them personally through alternative invites such as match boxes and mess tins. The mess tin would be a pre festival pack of information encased in a ration pack, stored in a mess tin, which envites you to bring it along to eat out of. The festival also will be situated in three different locations, therefore the festival goers would have to hike to each one to experience three seperate meals from a range of different stalls sharing recipes and craft skills.
