• Extension of Usman Road Flyover covering Burkit road junction
• Eliminates major pedestrian - Vehicle conflict at Ranganathan street junction and near T.Nagar bus terminus
• Facilitates free flow of about 4000 pedestrians during peak hour from Pedestrian zone to the railway station and bus stand & vice versa
• 50% of traffic flowing at- grade will use the flyover
• North bound MTC buses have to take a detour using Boag road and Muthurangan road to enter and exit from Bus stand
• Involves reconstruction of southern side of approach ramp of Usman
road flyover

• Extension of Usman Road Flyover on both approaches with 5.5m clearance to create hassle free shopping environment
• Eliminates major pedestrian - Vehicle conflict at Ranganathan street junction and near T.Nagar bus terminus
• Free flow of about 4000 pedestrians during peak hour from Pedestrian zone to the railway station and T Nagar bus stand & vice versa
• 35% of N-S straight traffic flowing at- grade will use the flyover
• Part of through & North bound buses will be benefited with flyover & few bus routes needs to be diverted
• Involves reconstruction of both approach ramps of Usman road
flyover for integration with the proposed flyover
