Fear Not! Death Is Conquered! (27 December 2015) Sermon in a Nutshell Death the last enemy has been conquered by Jesus through the cross. Believers do not need to fear death because we have already died with Christ on the cross. At the Second Coming of Christ, the dead in Christ will rise and those alive will be raptured. Christ is our blessed hope! Unlike the world, we are looking forward to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ ( Titus 2:11-13) The blessed hope of the Bible is Jesus coming back for us ( Philippians 3:20-21) Jesus: Our Blessed Hope Believers do NOT die as they have already died with Jesus at the cross. We get a brand new body ( 1 Corinthians 15:51-56) The dead in Christ will rise first and those alive will be raptured ( 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). Don't be fearful or listen to worldly theories ( 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4) Death Has Been Defeated Believers robbed of blessings as the church is NOT preaching on the Second Coming of Jesus. 17 books of the Old Testament & 23 books of the New Testament allude to the Second Coming of Christ.
