CELEBRATIONS
TRAVEL
Chinese New Year is Friday, February 12! This celebration signifies the transition between the zodiac signs. As fate would have it, 2020 was the year of the Rat which seems fitting. 2021 is the year of the OX! “In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal. Because of its role in agriculture, positive characteristics, such as being hardworking and honest, are attributed to it.” With a year of hard work containing the pandemic ahead, the assets of the Oxen could come in handy!
To celebrate the Chinese New Year, we will be sending out Chinese fortune cards with every meal on Friday, February 12. Each card will contain a fortune for the coming year and four will be prize winners!! If you receive one of the winning cards, call the front desk at 248-8944 and a chocolate prize will be sent to you!!

Three Elderly Sisters
Three sisters, ages 92, 94, and 96, live in a house together. One night the 96-year-old draws a bath. She puts one foot in and pauses. She yells down the stairs, "Was I getting in or out of the bath?" The 94-year-old yells back, "I don't know. I'll come up and see." She starts up the stairs and pauses. Then she yells out, "Was I going up the stairs or down?" The 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table having tea and listening to her sisters. She shakes her head and says, "I sure hope I never get that forgetful." She knocks on wood for good measure. She then replies, "I'll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who's at the door."
