Purpose: The 2012 Annual FCGLR conference will pro-vide free clinic administrators, providers, nurses, social workers and other volunteers information for improved provision of patient services and referrals. Objectives: At the conclusion of this program the par-ticipants will: understand the impact of the affordable care act & medical home model for free clinics, assess marketing strategies, improve cultural competency & health literacy, prioritize patient load, identify re-sources for the undocumented, improve advocacy ef-forts, enhance patient education, capture monetary value of free clinic services and assist patients in taking responsibility for their healthcare.
