Establishment of mentoring programs for unit personnel.

The goal of the 2012 TWC East Region Mentoring Program (established March 2012) is to support the career and leadership development of employees. This 12-month program provides mentees with the opportunity to build skills, knowledge, and achieve development goals, while providing the opportunity for the mentors to further enhance his/her skill set as a coach and adviser. The structured program targets high performance employees and provides support for setting goals, initiating and then cultivating a productive relationship between mentees and mentors. Mentees will identify development goals, in partnership with their manager, to target during the program. East Region program committee members include: Leadership Development Sr. Manager, HR Director, HR Sr. Managers, HR Managers, HR Sr. Generalists, and HR Generalists. TWCs New York City Unit 8341 has 13 mentors (includes 2 females & 7 minorities) and 13 mentees (includes 7 females & 9 minorities) currently going through this program.

Participation in at least two job fairs by personnel who have substantial responsibility in the making of hiring decisions.

The Executive Hunters Group Inc - USA Hispanic Job Fair February 28, 2012. This Career Expo affords area employers the opportunity to promote, interview, and hire area Hispanic professionals. The Expo is heavily advertised on all job boards and websites, six weeks prior to the event. The Executive Hunters Group also emails company information, prior to the event, to thousands of candidates who are registered in their database so that they can adequately prepare to meet with area businesses. Time Warner Cables Regional Recruiter attended and recruited for various job openings. Job seekers were also informed on how to search and apply online for local and national job opportunities at www.timewarnercable.com/careers as well as how to set up a search agent in Brass Ring.

Integrated Recruiting Consultants Sales Career Forum, May 9, 2012. Integrated Recruiting Consultants is a national sales recruiting and consulting firm that partners with the nations leading companies to help them connect with the best sales professionals. IRC provides innovative face-to-face and online sales recruiting solutions to leading companies throughout the country. Time Warner Cables Regional Recruiter attended and recruited for various Sales-based job openings.
