  • I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. ~ C. S. Lewis Can we ever get loose from the impact that Christ has had on us? Can we ever return to the old life once weve truly experienced the abundant life? We can run, we can hide, for a time, but because of the great work of Christ we can never hold our citizenship back in a land whereby we are no longer citizens. We must see what God sees, not our past, not our failures, but the potential in HIM that we have become HIS own possession and heir. Country music singer from the 70s John Conley sang of Rose Colored Glasses we can sing a song too of tented lenses that have been tented in crimson so we can be made white!

Wow! Choir, I am so proud of you. The Easter Cantata was fantastic. The Easter Sunday mu-sic was just as great. I again want to thank Bro. Clifton Speed for doing our narration and David Neal for doing the sound, Phyllis, Kathy and Shelton for singing the solos. I appreciate them and each member of the choir for their willingness and faithfulness to serve. I know the tendency for everyone is to slack off after a big presentation, but we cannot afford to do that choir. It is already time to start prepara-tion for the 4th of July music. Not only that, but we a learning new songs that we will be pre-senting as well as new praise hymns to teach the congregation. It is time for the end of the year school activities, graduation and making plans for summer. Please remember to make choir practice one of those planned activities. If you have not been singing with us, please consider doing so. We have a great time and it will be a blessing. I look forward to seeing you in church each Sunday. In Christ, Bro. Chris
