The panel members will be comprised of up to five users from the grid’s population. They are responsible for hearing both sides of the complaint by gathering information and offering solutions to the dispute. If one or both of the parties is not satisfied with their decision, then they have the option to turn the dispute over to a real world judge. His or Her decision is recognized in most foreign countries as well as the United States for a modest fee of $100-$300 USD. In this way justice can be afforded for all.

What Are SpotON3D Village Mini Stores?

SpotON3D has designed themed Turn-Key retail villages throughout the grid, providing an affordable and easy to use system called

These can be utilized by content creators to display and sell their products through, ideal for those who have limited product to sell, or want to drive traffic to their island stores. And, being located directly near main traffic areas makes it easy for shoppers to find what they need to outfit their avatars and homes.


How Do I Purchase ItemsFrom A Rent-A-Sign Mini Store?

This is an example of a seller’s Rent-A-Sign™ offering. It is linked to the SpotONSynergy™ selling portal. When you click on the sign inworld, it connects to the corresponding web page from the SpotONSynergy web site, showcasing it through the embedded Web Window™.

You’ll know you’re on the right page, because the picture shown inworld on the sign, will be the same image used on the SpotONSynergy™ web site listing. If not, the seller has made an error setting up their listing and it would be nice to let them know.

When you click on the sign, a blue dialogue will appear.

This dialogue box will open the client web window and take you to the page where this product is sold.

All you need to do is click on the “Go to page” button and the page will open up automatically.

How Do I Purchase From A Rent-A-Sign?


The SpotON3D Web Window will open to the product’s page on SpotONSynergy for you to make your purchase from.

Here you’ll find a short description of theproduct to make yourself knowledgeableabout your purchase and a link titled “Buy It Now” which you can click to purchase the item.

Please be patient and only click this link once.If you click multiple times, there is a chancethat more then one charge will go throughand you could receive more then one of the same item.

If the “Buy It Now” link does not appear, it isbecause you have not logged in yet. This is easy to fix.

1. Log in to SpotONSynergy2. Click on the sign again to go back to the

sales page3. Click once on “Buy Me Now”

Congratulations!


The confirmation message that appears on the next page shows that you have successfully purchased your item from SpotONSynergy.

Your item should now be delivered to your Inventory. If you at the bottom right-hand of the window you should see this button:

Click on it and your INVENTORY window will show up. You should see your storage folders there, arranged much as they are on your hard drive. Find the folder called OBJECTS and look for your purchased item. It should appear as the first item inside that folder, after any other folders that might have been created. If not, then you have your Inventory set to sort by NAME instead of DATE. If so, simply search for it alphabetically.

If the item does not appear in the inventory right away, it may be that the item is there, but the client has not updated its inventory.

This can be fixed simply by logging out and logging back in again. The item should now be in its proper place.




How To List Your Product For Sale On SpotONSynergy


How Do I Set Up A Rent-A-Sign To Sell My Item?

Selling products on SpotON3D starts with a scripted object called a SpotONSynergy Item Box. This box will let SpotONSynergy know what you want to put up for sale. It will also deliver the product to your customers for you automatically even if they are not currently logged into the grid.

Preparing an Item For Sale

Lets start with this file cabinet. I want to put it up for sale and make it available to my customers. First I need to prepare the file cabinet and decide how my customers will be able to use it.


By Right-clicking the mouse on the box and selecting “Edit” from the pie menu, an edit control panel is shown. At the bottom of this panel will be a set of permission options.

MODIFY lets your customer edit your object and change its appearance.COPY allows them to make multiple copies

RESELL/GIVE AWAY lets them give the object to another person.Any of these options may be disabled by unchecking the boxes, but at least one must be choosen.


These same options can be set on an object while it is still in your inventory.

Just right click on an object in your inventory and select “Properties.”

The same set of permission options will show up in the display box that appears.


The SpotONSynergy Item Box™ will detect that you have put new items inside. The box will scan them for you and then notify SpotONSynergy™ that you have new items to list for sale.

Now you can drag your object into the box contents as shown to the right.

Creating a Listing on SpotONSynergy

Your SpotONSynergy Item Box™ will scan its contents and then tell SpotONSynergy™ that they are ready to be sold.

Now you can edit your listings, describe what your selling, and even include a nice picture.

First you need to log into SpotONSynergy™.

One you have logged in, look along the side panel for a section called “Manage Your Items”.

Your items will start out as unlisted until you set them up. To begin, click on the “Unlisted items” link.


When the link is followed, it brings up a page of your unlisted items. These are the new items that you have put in the box but have not yet set up for sale.

Choosing an item brings up a form in which the details and price of the sale are filled out.

If it looks like there is a lot there, don't worry.

We will go through the form step by step.


The first name is the Product Title. This is what the item will be listed as when it is put up for sale. The item name can be different from the name of your object.

The second section is Product Category. This lets you sort your product into the appropriate category to make it easier for your customers to find what they want.


The third section is the Product Description. This is where you describe your product and make it appealing to your customer. The description editor comes with a wide range of tools to edit your text, and add links if you wish.


In the fourth section you list the price of the product you wish to sell. SpotON3D has made their $SO bucks easily convertible with US currancy. ($1.00 = 100 $SO bucks)

The fifth section is where you list the permissions you have given your product. It will be clearly displayed on the product sales page and will aid in informing your customer about the nature of your product.


The sixth section allows you to upload an image from your hard drive you have created to sell your product. The image can display any additional information you feel may be helpful in selling your product.

The final section allows you to list whether your item is intended for mature audiences or general audiences. Mature items will only be able to be seen by subscribers who also have a mature account with SpotON3D™. Please decide carefully what rating your product has before listing it for sale on SpotONSynergy™.

And finally......Submit your listing!


When you submit your listing you will get a confirmation page and then be asked what you would like to do next.


Congradulations!

You have set up your first product. This is how the page will look like to you if you own the product. You will always have the option to edit your listing in the future or remove it if you wish.

Now you are ready to add your item to the Rent-A-Sign Mini Store.



How To Set Up Shop in SpotON3D’s Village Mini Stores

Setting up the Rent-A-Sign Mini Store

To set up a Rent-A-Sign Mini Store™ you must first have an item for sale listed on SpotONSynergy™. There is a tutorial explaining how to set an item up for sale if you have not done so yet.

Here we have a sample Rent-A-Sign Mini Store like was shown in the beginning of the presentation.

Renting a Rent-A-Sign Mini Store

When you click the Rent-A-Sign Mini Store™ sign for the first time, it will open the web window and display a page where you can purchase the sign you clicked on. The sign will show the price, and the region location of the sign.

You may have to log in to SpotONSynergy™ and click on the sign again to get the purchasing page to appear if you had not already done so.

Renting a Rent-A-Sign Mini Store

When you purchase the Rent-A-Sign Mini Store™, the store sign in world will change to show that it has been purchased. If you have already closed your web window, you can just click on the sign and it will bring up your Mini Store editing menu.

Configuring a Rent-A-Sign Mini Store

Here all you have to do is choose the listing you wish to display on your Rent-A-Sign Mini Store from the drop down menu and click “Update Sign.”

For our demonstration sign I simply used an image that was seen earlier in the presentation, and the same one seen on SpotONSynergy™. The image for your product will be shown the same way and the sign ready for your customers to easily purchase your product.
