• One party rule under the leadership of politburo. Dictatorship is not final goal

• Condemns capitalism for exploiting the workers

• Glorification of the state

• Single party rule; single ruler the (dictator)

• Condemns democracy. Rival parties destroy unity. Man is unable to govern collectively

• Gov’t owns means of production. No private property ownership.

• Economy is centralized under communist party.

• Aggressive internationalism (comintern)

• Supports capitalism and private property as long as it serves the needs of the state

• Corporate state; captains of industry state economic deputies

• Aggressive nationalism

Communism ………vs…..…. Fascism• Condemns imperialism.

Advocates a world without nationalism with workers united.

• Peace is the stated goal

• Violent communist revolution. War is a means to the end (communism)

• Man is basically good and society can be made perfect

• Advocates social Darwinism

• Peace is weakness

• Glorification of war

• Emphasizes inequalities among people
