March 19, 2017 and April 2, 2017 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm each day Fascia is a connective tissue that links our body systems together. Fascia penetrates and surrounds every muscle and organ in our bodies. Myofascial release incorporates gentle sustained pressure on soft tissue while traction is applied to the fascia. This workshop explores fascia release techniques that teach us to confront stress while melting into and relaxation of the nervous system. Jahn Hoover and Sarah Brown will present this workshop out of their love of yoga and desire to teach others creative ways to release chronic and temporary pain issues found in all bodies. Both are RYT200 Yoga Instructors. Sarah teaches a regular class at the Tubac Healing Arts Center and Jahn has worked with and learned about Myofascial Release through his own chronic pain issues.
