FARMINGTON ELEMENTARY MINUTE TO WIN IT – MATH CELEBRATON
Wednesday, October 19, 2011
Students competed in fun “Minute to Win It” style games as a reward for math success!
A large stopwatch helped the crowd with the countdown!
Students rolled marbles through a noodle toy in a game of magic marker bowling.
The one-handed tissue grab took teamwork!
Grade 5 teams built towers by stacking eggs inside of paper towel rolls. How’s that for applied engineering!
Stack six dice on top of a popsicle stick and go for a short walk. Not so easy!
Winning students were rewarded with the gigantic calculator trophy! How appropriate!
