NSTP 2 General Orientation and Community Immersion Training Date: November 25, 27, December 3 and 7, 2014 Venue: FEU Auditorium and FEU Mini Auditorium respectively This program aims to familiarize students on the following: (1) basic concepts and principles of NSTP 2; (2) practical applications of NSTP2; (3) familiarize the students with the Course and Grading Requirement; (4) discussion of the guidelines in selecting the entity for community immersion; (5) orient the NSTP students about the nature of community extension activities/services which are institute-based to be carried out by the NSTP students; (6) become aware of the practical projects that will develop the NSTP students of IABF-Accountancy to appreciate the lessons that they have learned in the class which they can extend to community members; (7) familiarize the NSTP students of the community services about financial literacy, which valuable lessons that they themselves would acquire from the exercise; (8) group and subdivide NSTP 2 students into functional units and delegate specific tasks, duties, and responsibilities; (9) group and subdivide NSTP 2 students into functional units and delegate specific tasks, duties, and responsibilities (10) identify the list of target participants/possible areas/activities for the training sessions or community immersion.

Report on National Service Training Program 2 General Orientation and Community Immersion Training and Community Immersion SY 2014-2015

I. NSTP 2 General Orientation and Community Immersion Training Date: November 25, 27, December 3 and 7, 2014 Venue: FEU Auditorium and FEU Mini Auditorium respectively

This program aims to familiarize students on the following: (1) basic concepts and principles of NSTP 2;

B. Metro Art KKK (Kalinisan, Kalikasan at Kalusugan) Date: February 14, 2015 Venue: Ninoy Aquino Park and Wildlife Center, Quezon City This activity aims to be environmentally themed endeavor stresses the care

for the environment as it applies the learning and insight on environmental

care and awareness.

C. TAM CES SHIFT: Values Formation and Feeding Program dubbed with Literacy Program and catering for about 150 kids

Date: February 22, 2015 Venue: Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City This activity aims to develop and instill good manners and right conduct

among to the children and youth of community. Activities include: Feeding,

storytelling, fun games and interaction with barangay and GK children.

D. Project AGREE (Agricultural Gardening for the Restoration of the Earth and Environment) dubbed with interaction and feeding program with RSCC orphanage.

Date: February 23-March 8, 2015 Venue: Reception and Study Center for Children, Quezon City Project AGREE stands for Agricultural Gardening for the Restoration of the

Earth and the Environment. Its thrust is primarily, “Saving the Earth, a

concern that is now significantly recognized by the whole world. Activities

such as planting, composting and other ecologically related efforts are

subsumed under the project. The initiative, however, has its immediate

beneficiaries in mind, the RSCC (Reception and Study Center for Children)

children of DSWD. Creating an environment that is conducive to the

children is tantamount to envisioning a better future for the community

and the world. Equally important is the involvement of the FEU community,

the faculty and staff and students. The practice of civic involvement and

volunteerism are two of the values the project wants to inculcate.

E. 2nd Mural Painting in line with the Project STAND (STreet Artist: No to Drugs)

Date: February 26-28, 2015 Venue: Culiat High School, Tandang Sora, Quezon City This is the 2nd of the series under Project STAND a partnership with

Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) and (A3D) Association of Advocates Against Drugs. Its objective is to involve Street Artists/Fine Arts students of the different schools/colleges/universities within Metro Manila in the information drive on the hazards and prevention of the illegal use of dangerous drugs and controlled precursors and essential chemicals (CPECs) and in disseminating the same to the general public particularly targeting the youth through mural paintings.

F. NSTP Community Immersion: Tree Growing Date: March 1, 2015 Venue: San Mateo Landfill, Rizal This activity aims to be environmentally themed endeavor stresses the care

for the environment as it applies the learning and insight of the module seminars on environmental care and awareness. Tasks include: Trimming, Cultivating and Grass Uprooting.

G. NSTP Community Immersion: Tutoring and Feeding Program Date: March 1, 2015 Venue: Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City This activity aims to develop an appreciation for the educational process

and community awareness of the school. It also caters to selected children from the barangay for literacy program involving ITHM NSTP students.

H. NSTP Community Immersion: Make-over Project and Feeding Program Date: March 5, 2015 Venue: White Cross Orphanage, San Juan City This activity aims to promote and develop social interaction and

communication skills among students. Activity includes: (1) cleaning; (2) painting; and (3) interaction with orphanage children.
