AUXILIARY CARD PARTY
Our heartfelt thanks to
all of you who
attended the Card
Party, donated time,
baked goods, door
prizes or helped in any
other way to make this party a success.
The St. Francis Home Auxiliary provides many
services to our residents, including: purchasing
television sets, Wii games, parallel bars,
automatic door opening devices, dinnerware,
table cloths and so many, many more ways they
show their generosity to St. Francis Home.
The Auxiliary is responsible for the wonderful
Christmas dinner celebration that our residents
enjoy each year. They help serve, decorate and
provide a gift for each resident. In addition, they
provide home-baked pies and goodies for the
meal and purchase wine for the celebration. A
pianist playing soft music at the baby grand,
completes the festive atmosphere.
These are just a few of the things that our
Auxiliary does for our residents. We thank them
for their devotion to making our residents’ lives a
little more special. St. Francis Home has
WiFi available for
resident and residents’
family/ sponsor use.
The password is
protected. Please see a
supervisor or a manager
for the password.
NEW FACES AT
THE RECEPTIONIST DESK
In addition to Terri Roddy,
daytime receptionist, we
welcome two new employees
as our night and weekend
receptionists:
LeeAnn Fike and Ashley Brodman, daughter of
Rose Wilhelm, a nurse at St. Francis Home.
MAY CROWNING
May Crowning took
place on May 25th.
Because we needed to
ready the Family Times
for publishing and
mailing, before the
May Crowning took
place, we were unable
to provide pictures and
other information about
the event. Please watch
for this information in the July issue of Family
Times.

remembering and take without forgetting.”

A TREE FOR “JERRY” LUCIUS
Jean Smith, niece of our late resident
Gerald “Jerry” Lucius, has had a tree
planted in Jerry’s memory. The tree is
located near the bridge in front of
St. Francis Home.
Jerry loved the outdoors. He spent a great
deal of his time in the Spring, Summer and
Fall, planting, watering and weeding the
flower beds. You often saw the fruits of
his labors on the back patio, where the
flowers were profuse with color and life.
The next time you are outdoors, take a trip down to the bridge
and sit with Jerry under his tree.
HIS SPIRIT LIVES.
