Our mission:Strengthen the family. The C4 Foundation provides support and resources through science-based programs to active duty Navy SEALs and their families. We strengthen family relationships and enhance support networks for our most elite warriors, their immediate families and the SEAL community as a whole.

Our challenges:Strained individuals, families and communitiesThe Navy SEALs are the most well trained and effective fighting force in the world. However, their long and frequent deployments and even longer training cycles place an unimaginable strain on their marriages and family units. While they are trained and equipped to deal with every conceivable combat scenario, there is no help when it comes to transitioning back to healthy family life. In addition, the SEAL spouses and children often struggle with the isolation and loneliness of being separated from their husbands and fathers for over 270 days per year.

Our solution:Family strengthening programs in a world-class settingDesigned by world-renowned neuroscientist and USC professor, Dr. Glenn Fox, our customized F.R.O.G. programs (Families Re-energized through Openness and Gratitude) are uniquely targeted for these special warriors and their incredible families. The cutting-edge F.R.O.G. programs address mental, marital and family relationship wellness. The programs are specifically designed to promote family bonding and foster open communication before, during and after deployment cycles. These deserving families will participate in results-oriented activities and workshops, created by neuroscientists, psychologists and family therapists in the most pristine setting imaginable.

Our family strengthening programThe evidence-based activities and programs at the C4 Ranch aim to rejuvenate families and connections between spouses with tools and recreation that focus on performance, relationship and mental skills and resilience. Throughout, families will give feedback and long-term updates on the effectiveness of the C4 Ranch programs to ensure an impact lasting well past just what happens at the C4 Ranch. What’s more, the programs and grounds will be built alongside SEAL families to establish community buy-in and ownership for decades to come. All program activities implemented at the C4 Ranch will be measured for effectiveness. Using pre-determined metrics, each guest will participate in pre and post surveys and long-term check-ins at 3, 6, and 12-month intervals after completing the program.

Our needs Expanding existing infrastructure and program funding

The acquisition of the C4 Ranch was a critical first step in fulfilling the mission of the foundation. Over the next three years, we will be implementing a phased approach to increase our ability to host and serve up to 900 SEAL families annually. In order to meet this goal, we need to add more housing facilities, create more recreational opportunities in conjunction with the family programs and build a multi-purpose structure to support the best possible on-site programing and related activities.

Housing facilitiesn Cabinsn Tree houses n Camping facilities

Recreational opportunities n Exercise center with spa facilitiesn Archery rangen Wood shopn Arts and crafts room for childrenn Organic gardens

Multi-purpose structuren Dining hall/kitchenn Conference spacen Private meeting roomsn Special events hall

Our goal is to host up to 900 SEAL families annually.
