FPOP is a private, voluntaryorganization committed toempowering communities and families

to be responsible for their health.Established on August 4, 1969 as a

private (NGO), non-profit, non-sectarian organization affiliated withthe London-based International

Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)

WHO WE ARE

We are a reproductive health serviceprovider and an advocate of sexual andreproductive health and rights (SRHR)for all Filipinos.

We are a nationwide organization ofprofessional and community-basedvolunteers. We can be found in 25 provinces

across the country. We provide reproductivehealth services and inform and educate ourcommunities about SRHR, especially the poor,marginalized, socially excluded and

underserved. Currently, we operate 30Communit Health Care Clinics (CHCCs) that

health (SRH) information and services,and sexuality is seen as a natural andprecious part of human life and a

We champion sexual and reproductivehealth and rights (SRHR) throughadvocacy and provision of reproductive

Past interventions by FPOP on theFilipino youth was found to be high oninformation campaign but low on

provision of clinical services. Theywere also focused on preventingunintended pregnancies and werefound to lack uniformity, consistency

and institutionalization. This project isan attempt to bring SRHR servicesreadily available to young people,particularly those from the poor,

marginalized, socially excluded and
