PREFACE: SPEAK DIRECTLY TO THE READERS
We all dream of a fairy tale wedding - wearing that special dress, feeling like a Queen and all eyes only on you. We dream about this from a very young age, but… there is another dream! Most
women dream of having their own beauty salons… because again… you want to be a beauty Queen. Actually, we all just want to feel like a Queen: you want to be treated like a queen by your spouse; you want to be treated like a Queen by your family; your staff; etc. and that’s also why most of us have visited a five-star spa at least once in our lives. We all want to feel appreciated
and loved. There are a few times when I really felt like a Queen: When I got
married to my King; and the first time I had Tammy Taylor Nails on. I never had a big family. I was the pillar of strength to most of my
family members from a young age, so I never really knew what it felt like to be part of a family. But in 2015, I stumbled upon a
Jewel. I never knew it was or could be the size of the Jewel that it is now, and I could never have done it without the amazing
team members I have! The team actually did most of the work, especially the CEO Peet Viljoen, who worked and still works from
very early till very late at night. A special thank you to Peet for your commitment to our dream.
“Thank you for the Magic!” were the last words of a new franchisee who walked into our brand-new head office before
writing this. That is what the brand, Tammy Taylor Nails, is to us. It’s Magic!
For the first time in my life, I get that feeling of being part of a family, a Kingdom, an Empire, and I know everyone getting a
set of nails done by Tammy Taylor Nails, feels the same. When you enter a Tammy Taylor Nails Salon or building, you feel the
abundance of love in our lives. I am so grateful for our amazing, talented and out-of-this-world franchises in our group. We have been greatly blessed to have
such an amazing family. This book is dedicated to our Queen, Tammy Taylor. Thank you for the Magic! Thank you for changing our lives, without trying, for your diligence and spirit of excellence that shines brighter
than ten thousand suns. Nothing shines brighter than your good heart and the love in your eyes. Your love for what you do has
rubbed off on all of us. We know that your success is no accident; it’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and
most of all, loving what you are doing!
