Day 2 Dubrovnik Private guided walking tour of Dubrovnik Old town and city walls and cable car After breakfast meet your expert local guide in the lobby and leave for a pleasant guided walking through the enchanting Old town and city walls – a gem of the Adriatic (approximately 3 hours tour). George Bernard Shaw was enchanted by this beautiful city, about which he said "those who seek paradise on Earth should come to Dubrovnik and see Dubrovnik", as well as, famously, describing it as "the pearl of the Adriatic". Dubrovnik truly is a stunning city with its amazing Old Town, which became a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1979. A magnificent curtain of walls surrounds marble streets and baroque buildings that exude a pearly light in the Adriatic sun. The main pedestrian thoroughfare, Placa, is a mélange of cafés and shops with outstanding monuments at either end. Churches, monasteries and museums ornamented with finely carved stone recall an eventful history and a vibrant artistic tradition. Day 5 Split Private guided walking tour of Diocletian’s palace and the substructure Swordplay and archery class on Klis fortress Morning at leisure. Meet your chauffeur in the afternoon hours and depart towards Split. Upon arrival meet your local guide for a private walking tour of this historic city. Originally the palatial walled summer residence of the Emperor Diocletian, Split became a city after Salona, the Roman capital of Dalmatia just 6km north, was sacked in 7thC. Fleeing refugees were given asylum inside the two meter thick walls of the palace and over the next 1000 years, the “city” of Split was such a safe haven, it never grew beyond the same walls that exist today! As a result, the remarkable ensemble of Roman, Gothic, Romanesque, Renaissance and other architectural remains are all still here—and so are more than 3,000 people still living inside these ancient walls. But Split is more than its walled palace; it’s about enjoying the local way of life. Afterwards continue with your guide and chauffeur to Klis, a medieval fortress situated above a village bearing the same name, near the city of Split. From its origin as a small stronghold built by the ancient Illyrian tribe Dalmatae, becoming a royal castle that was the seat of many Croatian kings, to its final development as a large fortress during the Ottoman wars in Europe, Klis Fortress has guarded the frontier, being lost and re-conquered several times throughout its more than two thousand year-long history. Day 6 Split Private motor boat tour fo Vis and Biševo Meet your skipper in the morning hours for a private motor boat day trip to the islands of Vis and Biševo. These islands are famous for their inlets and caves, most famous being Modra Špilja (the Blue Cave) in the Balun Cove, accessible only by a boat. On a sunny day, when the sea is calm, sunbeams penetrate through an underwater opening and the effect of the sea bottom reflecting and illuminating the cave with azure color is incredible. Vis is the most utterly lying larger Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea. Its turbulent history goes back to the time of Neolithic, through the Greek period to the time when Venice was governing the island. After the 2nd WW it was closed to the public, due to its use as a military base for the Yugoslav army. After Croatia’s independence, Vis today is an island proud of its limpid waters and protected submarine world, rich with sunken ships and magic marine images that have been hidden for years. Day 7 Split – Zadar Private guided tour of Krka Waterfalls NP and visit to the falconry center near Šibenik Check out after breakfast. In the morning hours meet your chauffeur for private transfer to Zadar. En route you will stop at Krka Waterfalls National Park. On its green path, River Krka has seven falls, the last one being the amazing Skradinski buk. Thanks to the constant process of travertine building, the Krka River is a karst phenomenon, carving a spectacular canyon on its 70 kilometers journey from the foothills of Dinara Mountains to the amazing estuary under the walls of historic Šibenik. Walk the winding wooden paths through the main park area and visit the ethno museum and shops housed in the old mills at Skradinski buk. Leaving the splendor of Krka Waterfalls behind, you will visit the falconry center near Šibenik. Day 8 Zadar Spelunking at Modrič cave Meet up with your chauffeur/guide after breakfast for a visit to Modrič Cave. Day 9 Zadar Private motor boat tour of Kornati National Park After breakfast, head toward center of Zadar and Riva walking promenade where you will meet your skipper and board your motor boat (Sessa C42) for today’s private tour of Kornati National Park. Kornati is a surreal dreamscape, a natural archipelago of more than 140 uninhabited islands so stunning in their random beauty that according to the legend, after God created the world, there were still a few gems still left in his hand, so he threw them over his shoulder into the sea and Kornati were born. Day 10 Zadar – Zagreb Wonders of Plitvice Lakes Check out after breakfast meet your chauffeur for a private transfer to Zagreb. En route stop and visit Croatia’s most famous National Park with your local guide. According to legend, the Plitvice lakes were created after a long drought. The "Black Queen" took pity on the people and animals that cried for water. Heavy rain began to fall and continued until they formed the lakes we see today. The natural attributes of the Plitvice Lakes NP, uniqueness and sensibility of that phenomenon, deserve the full attention of our visitors. The Plitvice lakes, known as the "Falling lakes", have enjoyed the status of a national park since 1949 and since 1979 they have been under the protection of UNESCO.

Head to the north-western part of Croatia, Zagorje region, which lies hidden on the other side of Medvednica mountain. Arrival to Krapina Neanderthal museum where you will find out the interesting story about the life and culture of the Krapina Neanderthal, enjoy the many multimedia components and other contents, as well as very specific museum architecture. After this interactive experience, you will enjoy your drive through Zagorje diverse landscape with picturesque hills, expansive pastures and fields. You will have lunch in Grešna gorica where you can enjoy traditional cuisine and the children can enjoy fresh air and play with domestic animals. After lunch, return back to Zagreb in the afternoon.
