COLLECTION Fall/Winter 2020/2021

The new collection will focus on reorienting the “core” products.

In reference to this, we want to create shoes that take from the past but are in today’s world. We will introduce new silhouettes that will support the current collection for multiple seasons, but it will be a logical continuity. We will therefore offer an edgier collection, but the shoes will have all the RUBIROSA elements that makes the brand unique.

RUBIROSA, the Swiss label, well-known for its luxurious snea-kers produces exclusively for men in the finest leather quality. All items are handmade with the utmost attention to detail and offer unrivalled comfort. The company upholds the traditional stan-dards of craftsmanship and relies on the most experienced work-shops in Italy.

The RUBIROSA’s customer is an aesthete, a sophisticated gentle-man with an eye for beautiful things.

AVA

The AVA trainers are directly inspired from the original 70’s tennis shoes. Although it has all the features of its iconic ancestor, AVA is built in a more luxurious and artisan way, giving it the craftmanship detail typical to RUBIROSA. Made out of the highest quality calf skins and calf suedes, the upper sports has a classic perforated detail “brogue” that ties back to RUBIROSA’s existing styles.

The addition of a leather welt into the rubber cup sole further elevates the luxury of the shoe. The lining is made out of a distinctive vegetable tanned calf leather for ultimate comfort and a refined look. AVA is light weight, flexible and comfortable. A trainer that can be dressed up or dressed down, it is crafted for the perfect gentleman that likes to suit up or dress casual.

ANA

The ANA trainer was created to link RUBIROSA‘s existing and new collections. ANA is a high top that is inspired by the iconic 80’s basketball shoes. Contemporary and updated, the cup sole is made from genuine rubber and its side wall has higher proportions. Although a sportier shoe, ANA is made from luxurious calf skins, nubuck and calf suedes.

The heel is cupped with our Tuscan “Vacchetta”, which is spread throughout this new collection. With classic perforated “brogue“ detailing, the upper has a padded collar for stability and comfort.

The lining is made out of a distinctive vegetable tanned calf leather for ultimate convenience and refined look.

ANA is light weight, flexible and comfortable. A trainer to be worn in a “relaxed” way, ideal with sportswear.

JOAN

The JOAN runner is strongly inspired by the emblematic 70’s “wedge” running shoes. JOAN uses a bi-material and two tone coloured sole with an added spoiler for stability.

Though the sportiest shoe of our offering, JOAN has been designed with the classical details typical from RUBIROSA. A reinvention of the traditional broguing has been mixed with the athletic features that such a shoe requires.

Just as the other styles in the collection, JOAN displays embossed logo out of the finest Tuscan “Vacchetta” on the back stay and on the technical material of the tongue.The lining is made out of a distinctive vegetable tanned calf leather for ultimate comfort and refined look.

JOAN is light weight, flexible and comfortable. A sneaker to be worn in a “relaxed“ way, ideal with sportswear and everyday use.
