This morning, Keith Sietstra will wrap up our ‘Deeper’ series – where we have been looking at the heart of why we do what we do here at Faith Church. Today, as we look at Mark 10:35-45, we are reminded that as we are growing in our relationship with Jesus, we can’t help but to offer his ‘Deeper Love’ with this world - we serve! Serve here at Faith, in our homes and places of work, in our community, and all the way around the world. We long to be a church that is sending servant-hearted disciples with a passion for Jesus into the world. And we want you to be a part of that!! • Today we will be celebrating with Taylor & Andrea Van
Beek in the baptism of their daughters, Kendra Faith & Kyla Grace.
• Special offering today will be for Rock Valley Christian School.

• Congratulations to Ross & Lisa Fernstrum on the birth of their
baby boy, David John Fernstrum! David entered the world on
Tuesday, August 21. Mom and David are doing great! We also
wish to extend the congratulations to first time grandparents,
Dave & Nancy Olivier.
• Adam Sikora, grandson of Everet & Judy Vermeer & nephew
of Chris & Cara Vermeer, was able to go home this week after
a 31 day stay following his accident! The family is beyond
grateful for the miracles that took place!
• Please be in prayer for Ethan and Brittany Kooima. Ethan’s
niece, Jemma DeJong, daughter to Sarah and Todd DeJong,
died unexpectedly this week. Please keep the DeJong and
Kooima families in your prayers.
• We are so grateful for all the people at Faith Church for the
love and for caring for us during this time. Gracia loved this
church and congregation. Thank you to all for the expressions
of sympathy, the acts of kindness from those who served the
lunch and who lead music to those who set up and all the
