CANDIDATE INFORMATION

Candidates must be a Third Degree member ingood standing with the Knights of Columbus.

The Exemplification Fee is $70.00. The Candidatewill receive a Social Package which includes theinitiation fee, registration fee, social baldric, FourthDegree lapel pin, and a Saturday banquet ticket.The exemplification Fee for a priest, deacon and/orseminarian is $30.00.

The Candidate may purchase the optional swordpackage for an additional $180.00, which includesan etched sword, scabbard, carrying case andservice baldric. Non-regular size service baldricsare an additional $5.00.

Candidate “no-shows” without a six (6) day advancenotice to the Master will be assessed $40.00 fromhis exemplification fee. Priests are exempt from thisassessment.

Candidates must wear the Official Dress ofthe Fourth Degree as described below:

A standard black tuxedo, black bow tie, blackcummerbund, white-pleated tuxedo shirt with astandard “shirt collar” (wing type collars are notallowed), black studs, black socks, plain black toeshoes (no boots) and white gloves.

A candidate wearing a wing-type collar will beoffered a compliant shirt for which a $45.00 feewill be charged to his Assembly or he will not beallowed to proceed.

Priests and Transitional Deacons should wearclerical attire. Candidates currently on activeMilitary duty may wear their Class A dress uniform.Candidates will not be allowed to participate in theExemplification without the above-mentioned properdress. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS.

Exemplification Banquet - Candidates are guests ofthe Master and will receive one Saturday banquetticket if noted on the registration form. Candidatesmust purchase additional banquet tickets for theirfamily and guests in advance through his newassembly. Tickets will be distributed duringregistration.

Meal Tickets for all Sir Knights, their families andguests must be purchased in advance through theAssembly Comptroller. Tickets will be collected at thebanquet.

Saturday Banquet Tickets are $35.00 each ifpreordered. Tickets purchased at registration, ifavailable, will be $40.00. Seating may be limited,so there is no guarantee that tickets will beavailable at the door.

Members without color corps regalia must wear socialregalia with the social baldric. The combination 4thDegree pin is the only acceptable lapel pin.

The Candidate’s Council Financial Secretary mustcomplete and sign Section 7 of the Form 4 toverify that the candidate is a Third Degree memberin good standing, and his First Degree date andMembership Number are correct.

The Assembly Comptroller shall make sure all Form4’s are properly completed, then forwarded with theExemplification Package/Advance Meal TicketForms to the District Comptroller SK RandyCzaplewski.

All paperwork and Assembly checks are due to

the Assembly Comptroller no later than Monday,

October 12th, 2015. Checks should be made to:

“District Master”.

Comptroller.

District Photographer SK Andrew Spies will take aclass picture immediately following theexemplification and individual pictures prior to thebanquet. Cost for the pictures varies and prices willbe available at time of registration.
