Fleece Throws To Sell At Craft Shows

A gift of a fleece throw many years ago inspired JaniceDearth to create her very own throws to give away asgifts. With a few lessons from her cousin, Janice was nowteaching her three daughters how to craft fleece throws, and even offered to help ladies at the church make them. Then came the words that no one wants to hear. Janicelearned she had breast cancer, and would have to undergosurgery and all the treatments to follow. Her whole worldmay have changed, but not her spirit! After a slowrecovery, Janice decided to buy more fleece and beginsewing again. Her husband was a great supporter throughit all, and made the suggestion to sell her lovely throws. That was the encouragement she needed. From that pointon, she never counted how many throws she had madeuntil the time they decided to do a craft show. Janicethought she possibly created 60 to 70 throws, but in factturned out to be more like 160 to 170. Her husbandconstructed folding racks to make it easier for her todisplay the throws, and even made a special cover for histruck so she could pack everything she needed to exhibitat shows. Janice said, “God has richly blessed us. I'vegiven away as many throws as I've sold. It's allworthwhile to Janice to see the enjoyment people get inknowing they are her creations. Stop out and meet thislovely lady and her husband who will be presenting inbuilding “E” booth 24.

Always in Loving Memory of my Dad, DB

This Show News, as those in the past, is trulydedicated to my father, Dan. He was mystrongest supporter and my toughest critic! Ithank him everyday and wish he was here to seewhat life has done. Miss you "DB".

What a whirlwind summer! Shortly afterSpringtime in Ohio, I made my way south forsome much needed "Grandma" Judy therapy! Ofcourse, it is always good to see my two beautiful granddaughters and my daughter. Cliff,my son-in-law was deployed on my first visit,so another trip was made for his return! All aredoing well and very nice to have him homeagain! He finally met Maddison, since she wasborn while he was at sea!

My son Ken, graduatedfrom The Ohio StateUniversity in May (withabout 9,700 other students) and I am proudto say is now on his wayto Bowling Green StateUniversity to be aGraduate Assistant inIntramural Sports!

Heather has been keeping very busy with her sonEvan. Working here in the office and gettingready for a busy fall schedule, she has little freetime. But when she does, you will probably findher teeing up on a golf course somewhere!

Dustin and Amber havewelcomed a new additionto their family. LittleAustin was born in lateJuly and is welcomedhome by 2 older brothers!

Having my mother here most of the summerwas wonderful! As she knows, in this housethere is never a dull moment! We kept busydoing various activities and before I knew it, shewas leaving to head home.

Dean, also enjoys having my mother here, hewould probably tell you it's the only time hegets home cooked meals, but I would beg to differ! Still working full time and beinginvolved with the Hancock Co fair, fills most ofhis free time. I can manage to talk him intosome road trips every now and then, which isalways fun!

Well, as you can see our family continues togrow and evolve. Like my show schedule, it toocontinues to grow and evolve! Check out theupdated list of upcoming shows and hope to seeyou at a few of them! Thank you for your continued support!

Heather Warner Designs is theresult of Heather’s insatiable desire tocreate things and her love of nature. She developed a strong appreciationfor nature, the environment and theresponsibility that people have to theearth. So when Heather and her husband moved to the country and theopportunity arose to start her ownbusiness creating earth-friendly artwork, she jumped at the chance.

She divided her artwork into two categories art gourdsand reclaimedpieces. Over theyears she has paint-ed, stained, burned, carved, and has usedseveral other tech-niques Heather feelsthat she has onlybegun to scratch the surface of whatthey can be. Her reclaimed pieces, likeher gourds, use various art techniquesand often wood working techniques aswell. She starts with a discarded item, such as a bottle or a damaged table andreworks it to give thepiece new life andnew beauty. Heatherwill be featuring allher art work in Tent“B” booth 11 make sureto stop and see all her fabulous pieces.

“Breaking News”Wow! You will certainly want to make plans

early to attend this popular and exciting springtimeevent in the great city of Findlay, Ohio. Producer JudyCloud has given much thought to make this wellattended show a 2 day event. With many requests fromcustomers and exhibitors alike, Judy has weighed thepros and cons as to whether it would be in the bestinterest of both to extend the show to a 2 day weekendevent. As a successful show Producer for 24 years,Judy feels it will be advantageous for both customers and exhibitors to extend the show to 2 daysstarting in May of 2012.

On the average 300 talented crafters and artistsexhibit at this popular “Springtime In Ohio” show. Some drive long distances and set up beautiful displays

that take hours to complete. Many of our dedicated customers who come year after year to attendthe show, one day limits the time they can spend shopping. And for those moms and dads who wouldlike to attend the “Springtime in Ohio” craft show, butwork Saturdays or have children who they take tosporting and other school events, this affords them theluxury to attend on Sunday. Extending the show totwo days should not only increase sales for exhibitorsbut be a less stressful day. It is the hope of CloudProductions producer that having this event 2 daysinstead of one will be beneficial for all concerned.

We want everyone to come out and enjoy theexcitement, the entertainment, the best shopping, greatfood and just plain fun for the whole weekend.Wonderful food will be served by 20 vendors who takegreat pride in providing something for everyone's taste.Breakfast, lunch and dinner or maybe a snack, it’s allthere for you to enjoy. Picnic tables are provided foryour convenience. Entertainment for adults is alwaysprovided by Cloud Productions along with many children's' activities such as face painting, pony ridesand Doc Buttons the famous clown who performs histricks for the little ones. Gift Certificates are givenaway hourly. Simply sign up at the enter to win boothin the rear of building B and you could be a lucky winner. Event scooters are available to rent. Admissionis $5.00 & children 12 and under are free. Parking isfree. Package check is also available for those wishingto have items held while they shop.
