Fall Library Programs Sept - Nov 2010

Scholastic Book Fair Oct. 12- 20

BOGO (Buy One Get One) rewarded students who submitted their school lunch forms.

I want to thank our Principal Mrs. Mazique-Rivera and the classroom teachers who supported this SBF. We didn’t earn enough for a cash profit, but we did earn $552 Scholastic Dollars to purchase valuable books to support student literacy.

Special Shout-Outs Shout-out to Ms.Turnham, who is

collaborating on the Library Wiki at http://ms80xlibrary.pbworks.com/w/page/31451687/Drama!

Her students are learning valuable research strategies which they can apply to all subjects.

Also, Ms. Turnham is taking steps toward becoming paperless (no small task). (cont.)
