This year's RF-days are all about high-frequency material characterization. Therefore, the first two RF days are devoted to the topic of electromagnetic simulations of radar antennas, targets and systems as well as the extraction of material parameters from measurement results. Through lectures and hands-on workshops from leading software developers such as CST, IMST and National Instruments / AWR, you will gain the necessary know-how to develop your own measurement concept ideas based on simulation tools.

Iin the last two RF-Days you will learn all you need to know about state-of-the-art measurement technology in the areas of material characterization using network analysis, automotive radar and interference hunting, s

. Experts from Rohde & Schwarz will assist you with advice and practical help while you solve these current and demanding topics of radar technology and material analysis in a small group.

The RF-Days take place in the premises of the Ruhr University Bochum and are intended for all doctoral and master students from the field of electrical engineering. Unfortunately, the number of participants is limited, so register directly at . Master students please enclose a letter of recommendation from their professor. It is possible to register only for simulation workshops, measurement workshops, or both. After successful participation in the RF-Days, you will also receive a certificate certifying your qualification in handling simulation tools and measuring instruments for the characterization of materials.(If favored the courses will be held in english)
