The theme in worship thismonth… is PRAYER.

Whether your prayer life is richbeyond measure, dry as a boneor in need of resurrection, it ismy prayer that you:

AChristmas Choir Cantatawill be presented during

morning worship on Sunday,December 18th, entitled “Tapestryof Light” by Lloyd Larson. It willfeature the Chancel Choir andreaders from the congregation. Ifanyone is interested in singingwith the choir just for this specialevent (no previous singingexperience required!), pleaseattend Thursday evening choirrehearsals at 7:30PM in the choirroom during the months ofOctober, November, andDecember. All are welcome toattend to celebrate the season andto enjoy this enriching musicalexperience. Please stay tuned forfurther important details.

A way to express yourself — Singing is the most natural form of expression. It isa way to communicate, creatively and effectively. You can show yourself through the way youportray and paint your emotions, through your singing. Singing is a free and uninhibitedchannel to express yourself. 4. Connects you to people — When you sing, it is not only you who can feel theemotions, but also the audience who listen to you. It touches their hearts too! Through yourmusic, you can reach out to practically anyone in the world, for music transcends everything!Singing is great for a community life. It increases the bonding between people and makes asociety healthy, in terms of culture and morals.3. The greatest stress buster! — Singing can make you ‘be in the moment’,helping you forget all else. It can help reduce fear, hopelessness, anxiety, depression andinsecurity. It is nature’s way of helping you feel good. It increases confidence and builds self-esteem. It reduces feelings of isolation. 2. Makes you a better person — You have to accept things as they come. There arefew things we cannot control, and it is best to let go of them. When you start singing, you stopworrying about all the unnecessary stuff. Your positive side is at its peak.

staples in her head. She is now at MerryHeart Boonton for rehab.

ARLENE LANGDON — was hospi-talized with a back injury. Tests

were all negative but she is still in agreat deal of pain and unable to walkwithout the aid of a walker.

JOE HORDNES – is home fromrehab but is still unable to walk.

Please pray for strength and healing forJoe and Lisa.

JOSEPH PRUNIER — Terry Charl-ton’s brother, is still in Hospice Care.

HARPER – acquaintance of EvelynThiel, is 4 year old and has been di-

agnosed with Leukemia. Harper’s 2year old sister passed away 6 years ago.Please pray for Harper and her family.

AUDREY HOPPEL – Nat Pisarcik’sAunt, is undergoing chemo. She is

in good spirits and extra prayers wouldbe appreciated.

JENNY TERHUNE — is having adifficult pregnancy. Prayers are

requested for strength and courage forJenny and Kristine.

NICHOLAS SOTO — son of friendsof the Currans, has neuroblastoma.

He is receiving chemo hoping to shrinkand remove a tumor in his abdomen.He’s 16 months old.

ALLIE BEDNORZ – Linda Blank’sgreat niece, is battling Crohn’s Dis-

ease and is in the hospital in a greatdeal of pain and unable to eat.

DONDRA & DAVID ROACH –Linda Blank’s niece and husband,

are going to court in regard to Texasadoption laws for their 3 adoptedchildren. Prayers are requested forGod’s intervention and victory.

GERRY LONGO – cousin of BarbLanigan, was diagnosed with liver

cancer. Prayers are requested forsuccessful surgery and a positive spirit.

JOANNE ALTOMARE – wife of afriend of John Crozier, is undergoing

painful treatments for Blood Cancer.Prayers are requested for Joanne, herhusband, Bill and family.

RUBY L. PARKER – mother of acolleague of Ellen Scardena,

continues to be hospitalized withmultiple health issues.

OUR MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM — Let our prayers be

with all soldiers as they defend thefreedoms that we hold so dear. We aretruly grateful for their service to ournation. As the unrest continues in theworld, we pray that all militarypersonnel will come safely home. ♥

ELSIE FORCE — is finally home fromMerry Heart. She turns 95 October 11!

LORRIE SKINNER — has recoveredfrom a 2nd lumpectomy and has been

declared cancer–free! Praise God!

DON AND BEANSIE ESTLER —have successfully made the move to

Rochester. Their new address is: HeatherHeights of Pittsford, 160 West JeffersonRoad, Unit 341, Pittsford, NY 14534

STEPHEN – a friend of Betty Tilli, hasstarted cancer treatment and is in a

clinical trial. All seems to be going in theright direction.

CONNER – son of Bruce Middleton’sco-worker, has recovered from an in-

fection. Please pray on-going healing forConner and his family as they deal withLeukemia. Conner is 4 years old.

JOHN LAWLESS – cousin of EvelynThiel, received a kidney transplant and

is home. He is convinced our prayerscarried him through!

KATHY – colleague of Ellen Scardena,who has been initially diagnosed with

cancer, is now cancer-free. Praise God!
