Fairies• A fairy is a spirit or supernatural

being that is found in the legends, folklore, and mythology of many different cultures.

• They are generally portrayed as human in their appearance and have supernatural abilities such as the ability to fly, cast spells and to influence or foresee the future.

• In modern culture they are often depicted as young, sometimes winged, females of small stature.

Goblins

• A goblin is an evil, crabby, or mischievous creature of folklore, often described as a grotesquely disfigured or gnome-like phantom, that may range in height from that of a dwarf to that of a human. They are attributed with various (sometimes conflicting) abilities, temperaments and appearances depending on the story and country of origin. In some cases, goblins have been classified as constant annoying little creatures somewhat related with the brownie.

Elves

• An elf is a creature of Norse mythology. The elves were originally imagined as a race of minor nature and fertility gods, who are often pictured as youthful-seeming men and women of great beauty living in forests and underground places and caves, or in wells and springs. They have been portrayed to be long-lived or immortal and as beings of magical powers.

Trolls

• A troll is a fearsome member of a race of creatures from Norse mythology. Originally more or less the Nordic equivalents of giants, although often smaller in size, the different depictions have come to range from the fiendish giants – similar to the ogres of England (also called Trolls at times, see Troller's Gill) – to a devious, more human-like folk of the wilderness, living underground in hills, caves or mounds.

Giants

• The mythology and legends of many different cultures include mythological creatures of human appearance but prodigious size and strength.

• "Giant" is the English word commonly used for such beings, derived from one of the most famed example: the gigantes of Greek mythology.

Dragons• The dragon is a mythical

creature typically depicted as a large and powerful serpent or other reptile, with magical or spiritual qualities.

• Dragons are commonly portrayed as serpentine or reptilian, hatching from eggs and possessing long, typically scaly, bodies; they are sometimes portrayed as having large eyes, a feature that is the origin for the word for dragon in many cultures, and are often (but not always) portrayed with wings and a fiery breath.
