Flying Swings Centrifugal Force This ride is designed to use centrifugal force. Centrifugal force is a force that pushes outwards when objects move in a circular direction. This gives the person on the ride a feeling like they are flying. Electricity The electricity powers the ride to make the ride spin in a clockwise direction. Electricity is also used to power the lights.
