Manos del Uruguay SILK BLEND (50g, approx. 150yds; 70% merino wool, 30% silk), 1 sk each of colors A, B, C, D, and E. Shown in 3068 Citric (A), 300G Coffee (B), 300X Topaz (C), 300M Bing Cherry (D), 300U Rust (E).

INSTRUCTIONS

Using circ ndl and color A, CO 112 sts. Join in the round, being careful not to twist. Place marker to indicate beg of rnd.

Corrugated rib

Rnd 1: *With color B, k2; with color C, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.Repeat this rnd 7 more times.

Body set-up

Using only Color B,Inc rnd: *k1, kfb; rep from * to end of rnd. (168 sts)Work 1 rnd even.

Body

Work rnds 1-22 of Tam Body Chart, joining in and breaking off colors as neccessary.

Decreases

Work rnds 1-24 of Tam Decrease Chart. (7sts)

Finishing

Cut yarn, thread through remaining sts and fasten off. Weave in ends. Soak hat in cold water and gentle detergent. Roll gently in towel to remove excess water. Stretch over 10” diameter plate and lay flat to dry.
