Upcoming Events Faculty Luncheon On Nov. 17, from 11:30am1:00pm, the Senate will host a faculty luncheon where faculty will be updated on Senate proceedings and invited to provide feedback to help set Senate priorities for 2015-2016. The luncheon will take place in the Coleman Library Banquet Room (rm. 108 & 109). Faculty Senate Newsletter Recent Actions Current Initiatives The Senate is working with the administration to review/revise faculty position title codes and descriptions and to craft PVAMU’s response to Campus Carry. We will also be working to develop procedures for incorporating faculty input into academic administrator evaluations. Faculty Compensation Study As of July, Sibson Consulting has begun its study of faculty compensation and, by Feb. 2016, will propose a comprehensive plan to keep salaries externally competitive and internally equitable over the long term. See the Senate’s original compensation study proposal under “Recent Activity: Proposals."
