So you’re thinking about heading overseas for a short course? The Faculty of Business and Law work with universities around the world to promote short courses that allow you to earn credit towards your degree whilst travelling in your university breaks.

Important Information

• All courses included in this guide are designed for you to receive credit towards your degree – usually 25 cred-it points or 1 unit at Curtin. The Student Engagement office will assist you in the mobility process of matching units from your course to gain credit.

• Australian citizens, Permanent residents and Interna-tional students are eligible to apply, though unit enrolment fees may differ.

• Any program fees included in this guide are charged by, and payable directly to, the host university you will be studying at. They cannot be added to your HECS loan.

• Institutions working on an exchange basis will not charge tuition fees, those working on Study Abroad will – clarification can be provided by the Student Engagement office.

• In addition to a program fee paid to the host institu-tion, to gain credit in your course at Curtin you will be required to be enrolled into a CBS International Mobility unit whilst abroad – this is a PASS or FAIL unit and has a cost. The fee for this unit depends on your Fee Liability Status, more info on the fees website. Eligible students are able to defer this unit cost onto their HELP loan.

• Need funding? You may be eligible for an OS-HELP loan. Please visit the Scholarships page for more information.
