Faculty of Agriculture, Kasetsart University Department of Plant Pathology, Bangkhen, Bangkok, Thailand Postharvest and Seed Pathology Laboratory Under the direction of Somsiri Sangchote Ph.D. (Plant Pathology) The Royal Veterinary & Agriculture University, Denmark E-mail:[email protected] This laboratory is responsible both teaching and research. Many courses are offered such as seed pathology, postharvest disease, plant disease epidemiology, storage fungi and mycotoxins, and physiology of fungi. Research activities are emphasized on posthavest diseases of tropical fruits including mango, durian, mangosteen, rambutan on the etiology, epidemiology, and control, apart from postharvest disease, this laboratory also conducts research on seed pathology of many economic crops including rice, soybean, zinnia on an aspect of detection, transmission, and control.
