This course prepares the student to participate through nursing actions in all the public health care services provided in the Saudi community. The family, as the primary unit of the community, is the focus of care. This includes health services of preventive, promotive and curative levels to all members of the family considering their special developmental needs. The student is oriented to use all the available community health resources to accomplish the goals of primary care.
