Purpose of Scholarship

Purpose of ScholarshipThis scholarship commemorates Azusa Ono, a key figures in Waseda University's foundation and is designated to support international students with limited financial resources.

Scholarship for Young Doctoral Students

Eligibility

Students enrolled after the 2009 academic year Regular full-time doctoral students, within the standard term of their degree Students under 30 years of age on April 1st of the year of receiving scholarship

Amount ¥200,000 ~ 600,000 (depends on the area of study)

Purpose of ScholarshipThe purpose of this scholarship is to support and encourage admission of young people with high-level research skills and a rich knowledge base into graduate school doctoral courses.

EligibilityUndergraduate/Graduate students who have experienced a sudden change in family finances within the last year

Availability 40 maximum

Scholarship Period 1 year

Purpose of ScholarshipThis scholarship is designated for students, who at the time of application, have had a sudden change in their family's financial circumstances within the past year which affats their academic endeavors.
