Factory floor hygiene layouts

• Personnel entering the factory from outside must follow the blue colour coded flooring• They have the option to disrobe from wet clothing into dry clothing before entering the factory • Personal lockers are provided for each person to store outside shoes and light clothing (individually key locked) • For ease of location the lockers are numbered for each individual • Captive internal footwear provided by the company can be found underneath the numbered sit over bench adjacent to the persons own locker • Stepping into the red zone enters the high care factoryEquipment SolutionStep over/ sit over benchesStandard & Footwear lockers

Varied options provide customer choice

• White wall panelling allows for the principle layout to be adapted to suit most factories • It is important to note the complete water divide between low care and high care as all lockers and sit over benches are fully sealed to prevent water exchange between the two colour coded areas• Here the lockers are placed facing each other with the high care divide running singularly between the lockers

Through the factory

• As personnel enter the factory they must put on the appropriate colour coded hair net and beard snood if required • They are invited to apply their hands with a sanitation fluid before they are permitted entrance into the next area of the factory • The controlled barrier and application device will only be released once a precise dose of hand sanitizer has been applied to both hands• Again please note the colour coded floor

Large numbers of people pass through efficiently

•It is possible to segregate male/female changing areas if preferred as an option•In this example males enter/exit to the left and females to the right•Two automatic sanitation applicators avoid queue building on the inbound and free flowing/revolving doors allow quick and easy exit from the factory on the outbound

Coat dispensary and temporary storage

• Personnel receive new clean coats on a daily basis from a locked area• During natural and timed breaks the coats are hung on purpose built rails• This small cost effective method allows 200 coats to be stored without a problem• At the end of shift/close of work all soiled garments are placed into a storage room which is segregated from the high care area

Access via automatic soap dispensersHigh care control

• Controlled entrance door soap dispensers will only allow entrance to the wash hand basins after soap has been applied to both hands • In this example two dispensers guarantee quick application and go• With soap on the hands people naturally move to the water basins to wash it off• Exit from the factory is restricted through these machines as the barrier door will not free flow to exit

Wash basins & Air dryers

Boot washing efficiency and ease of cleaning is vital to the performance of the factory

Boot wash performance is critical

• It is very easy to place two boot washers side by side to guarantee quick and easy exit and thus avoiding downtime• Both soles and sides of the wellington boots are efficiently washed prior to storage underneath the sit over benches• Brushes are quickly removed from the machines without the use of hand tools

Controlled exit from the factory

• Personnel are channelled through the in line boot washers

• Barriers stop people avoiding the boot washers after shift

Exit is only permitted via the inline boot washers
