My name is David Smith, President and owner of Factory Five Racing. Formore than fifteen years we have been at the forefront of the component car in-dustry with our famous roadsters and coupes. In fact today, if you see an ACreplica out on the road, it is most likely a Factory Five. While the satisfaction ofthat accomplishment is tremendous, we wanted to make our own original de-sign.

The risks of designing our own supercar were huge. Automotive history hasmany examples of small companies whose reach exceeded their grasp. Com-panies like Tucker, Bricklin, DeLorean, Vector, and others had great ideas, butlacked the resources to fully execute. So with great care and planning, we de-signed the GTM over the process of five years.

We designed the GTM because we wanted to. We wanted to build this carwhen we were in fourth grade drawing pictures of cars while Mrs. Johnson wasdroning on about long division. We designed the GTM as a direct challenge topeople like Ferrari dealers, who with manicured fingernails and straight facescharge people a premium to be on a waiting list, to join an exclusive club ofunfriendly people who rarely drive their cars. We designed the GTM out of realpride, patriotism, and conceit. We wanted to show the world what we were trulycapable of and we wanted to build a car that would kick everyone else’s arse.

In hind sight, I don’t know what I was so worried about. The car has come to symbolize Factory Five’s technological abilities.The car runs with the very fastest supercars on the planet and it looks even better. Every time I drive my GTM, I say to myself,“My gosh! I forgot how fast this car is.”

While our talented engineering staff uses advanced computer CAD designs right upfront, our manufacturing team finishes the job by using the right materials, toolsand training to build a better part. Not only does Factory Five lead the componentcar industry in engineering technology, we set the bar just as high in manufacturing.

The GTM Supercar is made in the same facility and by the same people who makethe Roadster chassis parts. We’ve successfully built over 7,500 Roadster and morethan 400 GTM chassis. Our chassis and composite body parts are made right herein the USA with American labor and shipped from our factory in New England, notTaiwan or South Africa!

The end result of all this work is that this most American of cars is made by Ameri-can craftsmen using the right tools, the right materials, the right way.

The GTM Kit - $20,990The GTM Supercar kit is engineered to be built by a car guy at home with regular tools.The GTM kit gives you everything you need to build your car, except for select runninggear parts taken from a 1997-2004 Chevrolet C5 Corvette and a transaxle. The majorCorvette parts include the engine, front and rear control arms, suspension/brakes, andfuel tanks. The transaxle used is a Porsche 911 unit or a Mendeola 5 speed.

Aluminum Chassis PanelsAluminum Under Glass

The Factory Five GTM uses an ultra-strong space frame and isjoined by a matrix of aluminum sub-frame panels to completea true race-car construction.

Built on the strong foundation of this tough chassis is a fourcorner coil-over shock suspension with unequal length controlarms and massive Corvette brakes. The composite body restson top of this chassis and is a separate unstressed assembly.

The entire cockpit, front under bonnet area, engine bay, and splash guards aremade from CNC precision-cut 6061-T6 aluminum.

At the very core of the GTM Supercar is a computer designed,ultra-rigid space-frame. The frame is made of mig-welded, highstrength mild carbon steel tubing and plate steel. This specialdesign incorporates a low center of gravity, high torsional rigidity,and solid safety features that delivers true supercar performancein a safe and secure vehicle design.

CAD designed/ultra-rigid chassis: The GTM frame was the first Fac-

tory Five design to fully utilize SolidWorks CAD software. The chas-

sis, welding jig, cut list, bill of materials, and strength testing were

all performed on the computer before parts were made.

In-house manufacturing controls help maintain quality and repro-

ducibility. For example, our welders all use the same Millermatic™

250 MIG welding machines. Standardized equipment is part of a

comprehensive quality manufacturing program.

Our welded parts are made in

the USA with American labor.

We’ve already proven the GTM suspension in conditions more demanding than you everwill. We’ve competed in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill for more than 5 years. The GTM wasdeveloped and tested on the racetrack, at the dragstrip, at autocrosses, and ultimately inthe real world out on the streets.

The complement to a lightweight and rigid chassis is a well developed suspension. Ourengineering team applied the lessons they learned developing and racing in the FactoryFive Challenge Series to design a world-class suspension for the GTM.

We selected the tough and lightweight aluminum Corvette control arms and matched themto proprietary FSD* coil-over shocks and springs developed with the team at Koni Shocks.The FSD KONIs deliver razor sharp handling at modest speeds, while maintaining Super-car manners at Supercar pace.

Interior/Engine BayComfort and Control. Bridge Between Man & Machine.

The GTM kit comes with a complete interior including, sportseats, carpeting, headliner, roll cage covers, covered inte-rior panels, door panels, engine cover, rear bulkhead, dashassembly, carbon fiber dash face, complete gauge set, anddirectional vents for heating and cooling. Covered interiorpieces contrast with the carbon fiber gauge pod and func-tionally elegant layout of the interior.

For a car that is only 42” high, the cockpit space is remark-able. Sitting in the car you’ll find a large and quiet cockpitwith good front and rear visibility and modern temperaturecontrols. Following a careful entry and exit, you’ll findhead-room, legroom and front/rear visibility that is surpris-ingly well executed. An elegant and simple interior focusesthe driver on the serious job at hand.

The GTM interior is simple and func-tional communicating the car’s pure per-formance mission.

No matter how fast a sports car is, it has to look good. The GTM has puresupercar lines. Low, menacing and powerful… Those are the words thatcome to mind when one sees the GTM in person for the first time. But lookshave to support function. That’s why we developed this shape in the windtunnel and at speed on countless racetracks over a process of five years.

Wind Tunnel Proven: The shape of the GTM was aerodynamic tested at the Lan-

gley AFB wind tunnel and the Boeing Aircraft windtunnel. Every part we sell, in-

cluding front and rear spoilers, rear diffuser, under-car aluminum sheeting,

front hood vents, and functional roof scoop were optimized for safe down force.

IForged wheels made specifically for Factory Five are lightweight, strong, and look great. Sizes are 18” x 9” front and 18” x 12” rear. You can use a massive 335/30-18 rear, and these wheels will fit over the C6 Corvette Z06 brakes. The set of four is drop shipped directly to you for a flat rate of $149 anywhere in the continental US.

25931 GTM Heating / Air Conditioning Kit: $1,350This kit utilizes the Corvette compressor, condenser and accumulator. The assembly includes the evaporator and blower, control panel, and all hoses and duct work. See the GTM assembly manual for a complete list of parts with Corvette part numbers.

25892 Telescoping Steering Column Adapter: $156Some Corvettes offered an optional telescoping steering column. If your donor car has telescoping steering, you will need this adapter.

26095 GTM Carbon Fiber Road Race Spoiler: $1,499 + S/HHigh down force carbon fiber road racing rear wing. Sold without mounts or frame reinforcements. Recommended for experienced road racers and custom fabricators. This wing was wind tunnel tested on a Factory Five GTM and generated over 400 lbs. of down force. Adjustable angle and standoffs/feet included. Allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

26144 GTM Carbon Fiber Front Split ter: $399This is a high quality carbon fiber front-end splitter. The splitter rivets to the underside of the nose and creates down force by taking advantage of the higher pressure zone created in front of the car at speed.

26094 GTM Carbon Fiber Rocker Extensions: $399 prThese high-quality carbon fiber panels run along the side of the car from the trailing edge of the front wheel to the leading edge of the rear wheel. Sold in pairs.

26097 GTM Roof Scoop: $199The roof scoop is made of fiberglass and vinylester resin finished in a sandable gel-coat. In order for it to cool the engine bay as designed, a ½” x 12” slot can be cut at the back of the roof into the engine bay to allow air flow. Requires body work.

26069 GTM Fender Louver Set: $199These fender vents allow air pressure in the wheel well to escape, reducing frontal lift at high speeds. Made specifically for the GTM in house, these composite parts are delivered in a sandable gel coat finish. Not recommended for street use.

26054 GTM Cold Air Intake: $399Custom designed cold air intake kit routes fresh air from side intake vents to LS series mass air/throttle body. Assembly includes custom polished aluminum tubing, fasteners, conical filters, and silicone elbow adapters.
