WORK TO BE PERFORMED ALONG FLAGLER STREET Reconstrucng the roadway Installing new water main and storm water drainage system Installing new lighng, traffic signals and pavement markings Eliminang the eastbound lane along Flagler Street between 12 Avenue and 6 Avenue Converng 6 Avenue between Flagler Street and SW 1 Street to a two-way street Adding an exclusive bicycle lane Providing new sidewalks and pedestrian ramps PROJECT SCHEDULE June 2016 — Early 2019 AFFECTED MUNICIPALITIES City of Miami ESTIMATED CONSTRUCTION COST $11.11 million LANE CLOSURE AND DETOUR INFORMATION To do this work safely, traffic shiſts will be performed to establish permanent work zones and reduce the number of travel lanes. Addional temporary lane closures can occur during non-peak hours on non-event days, nights and weekends from: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. — weekdays and weekends 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. — Sunday through Thursday 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. — Fridays and Saturdays HELPFUL TIPS Allow extra me to reach your desnaon Obey all posted signs and speed limits ALWAYS PUT SAFETY FIRST For your safety and the safety of others, please use cauon when driving, walking or biking around any construcon zone.
