Major Projects Update – July 2016

Facilities Update

• Construction Progress

Construction Websites - http://www.bismarckschools.org/district/construction/ BPS Athletic Complex – Phase II

• Work continues grading the site at the practice football field. The pile of topsoil is almost gone. • Work in progress installing the drain tile around the artificial turf baseball field. • The perimeter of the baseball field has been staked for fence location. • Work continues applying the track surface. • Concrete work continues on the grandstand addition and in the Restroom Building. • Bollards have been installed at the overhead section door of the Restroom Building. • Work in progress pouring the stoops at doors 101A, 102A, and 104A. • The restrooms are ready for the installation of the CMU walls. • Mechanical curbs have been installed on the roof of the Restroom Building. • The roof membrane has been installed at the dugouts.

BHS Science Rooms Renovation

• The fourth science room is finished. • The fifth science room has been abated. • Flooring will be installed in the final two rooms by the end of the week. • Cabinets for all four of the remaining rooms are here and installation should begin next week.

Lincoln Elementary Addition

• Sheet rock is 90% complete. • Plumbing work and chase ways need to be complete before taping can begin. • Sidewalks on west side have been poured. • Landscaping and irrigation will go in this week with sod following next week. • Bathroom partitions and mirrors have been delivered. • Marker boards have been delivered.

o No Transportation Director has been hired by Harlow’s as of yet. o Our new white activity bus has arrived. o We currently have 3,665 students registered for 2016-17 busing it goes higher each day.
