WINGS' mission is to break the cycle and heal the wounds of childhoodsexual abuse by providing education, advocacy, and support to adultsurvivors, loved ones, providers, and communities.

Support group co-facilitators are Master's level clinicians who provideguidance, grounding, and connection in WINGS' weekly peer supportgroups.

co-facilitate weekly 2-hr groups,

attend free monthly, online group supervision,

submit group attendance monthly,

receive $40 stipend per group,

maintain DORA registration and personal liability insurance,

and are part of a professional network of dedicated clinicians supporting

adult survivors through their healing journey!

Facilitator Position DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR THE APPLICATION

WINGS currently offers 17 support groups across the front range –

from Loveland to Colorado Springs. ·        

Supports groups range in size from 7-10, depending on the spaceand frequencies of the group.

Support groups are offered weekly except for the 2 writing groups,

which meet monthly.     

Support groups are offered most typically in the evenings Mondaythrough Thursday. The writing groups are offered monthly onSaturday and Sunday.

About WINGS’ Support Groups:     

Must be licensed or a candidate for licensure and in good standingwith DORAKnowledge and understanding of incest/childhood sexual abuseissuesThorough understanding of group process and group dynamicsExcellent therapeutic and personal boundaries and ethics

Qualifications to be a WINGS support group co-facilitator:     

Model appropriate communication and leadership skills  

Maintain member confidentiality within the organization  

Adhere to WINGS Support group structure and group rules

Address crises both within the group and individually whilemaintaining appropriate boundaries.

Keep accurate and up to date group member attendance andcontact records.       

Maintain professional liability insurance and be registered with theDORA database.

Note: this position does not provide therapeutic interventions.
