Course Abstract

COURSE OVERVIEW:

This four hour virtual instructor led course (VILT) is designed to provide Financial

Services client service professionals with an overview and demonstration of the

Effective Yield Model (EYM) tool. By the end of this training, participants will be better

able to recognize potential clients for whom the tool’s functionality may be beneficial,

and engage those potential clients in an informative dialogue concerning the benefits

and key features of the tool.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

This course targets management level client service professionals within the Advisory

Financial Services practice.

Module 1: Course Introduction

Module Time: 30 minutes

Module Overview

This course begins with the standard producer introduction and course overview. The

facilitators then discuss the development of the Effective Yield Model (EYM) tool, including

the identification of the initial need and the newly identified opportunities which have come

about due to recent events in the marketplace and financial industry. The facilitators also

provide a high level introduction to the key functionality of the tool. As part of this overview,

the facilitators ask participants to share, via text chat or the mic/audio, recent client

situations where they had identified potential uses of the tool or identify situations where the

use of the tool would have provided value to the client.

REMIND participants that failure to actively participate will result in denial of CPE credits.

INTRODUCE yourself and provide some information on your background and experience in this topic. It is important at this stage to demonstrate credibility as to why the participants should listen to you.

Repeat these storyboards to complete your Facilitator/Producer Guide. These samples show the level of detail needed to ensure that any producer can execute the technology for a live event. Facilitators should prepare detailed outlines or scripts for each slide to stay on track with content. You should not sound like you are “reading the slides”. You should be speaking to the group and aligning your own experiences to make the session dynamic.
