Why have facebook parties?

There are great benefits for:

● The consultant

● The hostess

● The guests

It is all about building relationships.

Step 1: Get someone to host a

party for you!

How to get a hostess:

● Go back through past customers & hostesses and offer it to them (exclusive offer!)

● Approach friends & family● Mention the option to host facebook parties during your

party talk● Add it as an option on the draw slip● Offer incentives for booking (ie $20 gift certificate)

At the time of booking

Focus on:

● How to invite

● Who to invite

● When to invite

Coaching Hint:Make sure that she reinforces that the party is a LIVE event!

Have the hostess ask her friends & family if they would

like an invite to the event.

Only those who say yes will get invited to the event.

Tips for creating your videoQ: How do I record the video?

Face a nice light source Tape is your friend.

● Sit facing a good source of light.

● Make sure you are nicely centered in the frame.

● Look at the camera (not at the screen!)

● Send the kids out of the house!

Step 1: Choose a nice selection of books

Step 2: For each book, ask yourself… what is it that I want to share about this book?

Step 3: Plan each ‘scene’ & record it

Q: What do I put in the video?

(hint: which books have something cool to show visually?)

(better yet… what can I SHOW about this book?)

(Should I hold the book & chat, or should I show the book being used? What would be more effective?)

Hint:Our books are

much more attractive than we

are!

Q: What do I use to edit my video?

Apple: PCs: Mobile:

(Hint: There are amazing FREE tutorials available on youtube for all of these programs. In addition, lynda.com has an amazing selection of tutorials (and a free 7-day trial)
