Gain Pageviews using Old Content
“Repurpose” your old content as it relates to the season. If you have great content from last fall, share it on Facebook this fall. Your readership has increased in the last year, and chances are not all of your readers saw that post when it was new.
If you do a related project, wait a day or so and post a status update sharing the older content that is relatable to the new post.
Those who have been blogging for as little as one year can take advantage of “old” content.

Status Updates I Regularly Use
Early Morning
Bait clicks with before pictures. I agree that we all may be tired of them, but
trust me, they work.
Late Evening
Post a beauty shot, including a Pin It For Later link
Saturday Morning
Roundup from the previous week. I find that Saturday morning is one of the best
times for Facebook AND Pinterest.
My Best Tips
Schedule your future Facebook posts whenever you get a
few free minutes.
Upload a picture and a link instead of using the auto
generated preview when you’re sharing your own content.
There is no magic formula for how many updates to post
per day. I find that 3-4 work best for my audience. Know
your audience, and post accordingly.
Post YOUR content every single day. NEW content when
you have it, OLD content on the other days.
More tips
Should I boost a post? I have done this when I had a local event, targeting my local audience.
Join a small Facebook group where you share each others content.
If you routinely share a lot of content, use a # for your own content so your audience can quickly determine which updates are your own.
Be sure to use a call to action OR ask a question to engage your audience.
#SundayShareDay
Don’t sweat the small stuff. It really is impossible to keep up with all the changes on Facebook.
