Blog on Fighting with Parents

If you’ve ever been in a fight with your parents and you have lost, I have a way to get what you want. First, you have to at least try to put up a fight to get your way upfront. Then, you stay in silence for a while. After that, you must device some kind of plan to get you out of whatever you don’t want to do, like a certain event. Next, you pretend to completely agree with your parents and act extremely happy and thankful until you put your plan into action. Finally, you proceed with the plan and, tada, you win. This works 90 percent of the time and it helps if you have others in on it so you are not on your own. If your parents discover what you are up to before the plan, then you are going to get in a lot of trouble.

The Plan

I think marrying you and Romeo made the feud worse, but I am hoping that our plan will help your families. If they see that you children had to run away in order to be together without being scared they might stop fighting. In order for this plan to work, you must take the potion alone the night before and do not tell anyone. Your family will most likely change the wedding plans into funeral plans. If not I will help with that. I have told Friar John to give a letter to Romeo about our plan so he should be there at the tomb when you awaken. Do not be scared; nothing bad will happen to you and I am sure everything will turn out just fine. You and Romeo can finally be together with no worries. I shall pray that Romeo gets the letter on time and that you will stay strong throughout all of this.

The Plan

I hope you are right about stopping the fight, because then maybe someday Romeo and I could come back. Also, I am very sorry for getting you involved in all of this drama and I pray for forgiveness. I think it would be a tragedy if I had to marry Paris while being married to another man. I do not think I could live with myself so this plan is literally a life saver. I cannot wait to see Romeo. It has been so long! I will try to stay strong, but I am already getting anxious about it. This is going to be a little challenging for me, but I know I must do it in order to be with Romeo. Why Romeo?

I still do not understand why you love that killer Romeo. He murdered your cousin Tybalt and he is now banished. You will not even be able to see him. I just do not see any good in him at all now. His family is spiteful and hates all of us Capulets. Why do you love him? I think you should abide by your parents will and marry Paris. I like Paris; he is nice and never gets into trouble like Romeo. Plus, he would make a great husband for you. Paris likes our entire family and we like him, so why don’t you? He enjoys being with you and cannot wait for the wedding. I mean, Romeo hates us Capulets and your parents definitely hate him. You two rushed into marriage and I am not sure that was wise. Please think hard about all that I have said. I am sure you will choose wisely on what to do next.

Why Romeo?

First, Romeo is not a savage killer, he is my husband! I love for reasons only known to me. I guess it was love at first sight. Also, I know for fact that Tybalt killed Romeo’s friend, Mercutio, first and Romeo killed Tybalt on behalf of his dead friend. Romeo also tried to break up the fight before Mercutio was murdered by Tybalt. Romeo is nice and only wants what is best for me. Paris just wants our money and I hate him! Paris does not even know me and I don’t know him. No one can force me to marry Paris, especially when I already have a husband. Finally, Romeo and I did not rush our marriage and we are sure of our feelings for one another. I thought you supported me and my decisions, but now you don’t. I also thought we were friends, but I guess that is not true either.
